Don’t miss out on this activity if you’re in the Galena area! I recommend you make reservations ahead of time. My family and I took the tour and learned a lot about this charming town that used to mine lead. A one hour tour, the driver was excellent, very informational and engaging sharing lots of knowledge on the town. Trolley shop and train was clean. Staff is friendly and helpful! Would totally recommend.

A fun way to learn some history about Galena! Our tour guide Nate was extremely enthusiastic about Galena history and was very knowledgeable about the homes and architectural facts of the town. The tour was about an hour long, and kept our interest the whole way through! We enjoyed the loop through the town and felt like we saw all of the most important aspects of this quaint little town! It made us appreciate the town and its history even more! Would definitely recommend for any first time visitors to Galena!

So much history in this 1 hour tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of this Diamond in the Rough! We were able to take pictures of almost everything as the driver would turn around and come back down the streets. He was very nice about questions being asked and was even able to answer questions about the area outside of the history district. I do think the tickets are a bit pricey but what price should be put on obtaining knowledge!

Highly recommend as a must do whilst in Galena . Our tour guide Nate deserves 10 stars , his knowledge and fun banter made it a well informed trip.
We did this trip as soon as we arrived in Galena to get an overview of this quant little town and Nate answered any questions asked.
All staff we interacted with are very friendly and helpful.

Great trolly tour and ride. Our driver was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history and people of Galena. He was engaging and told great stories which made the ride a must do for everyone! Ticket prices were reasonable and on a Friday afternoon not so crowded.
