An awesome and FREE museum experience! No pets allowed (only service animals). My husband and I and our 9 year old son loved it. You can get your Natl Park stamp here and participate in the Junior Ranger Program. There are not souvenirs here, however. You have to visit the Lamar bathhouse down the road to get souvenirs and purchase growlers of the thermal water.

Do NOT miss this beautiful museum. It is filled with such rich history of Hot Springs and is free and gorgeous to photograph. You can take a tour if you choose. Or freely walk a self guided tour. Which we did on a Wednesday morning, and it was not crowded at all.

A great place to start your visit to the Hot Springs National Park. The museum offers guided and self-guided tour options. The bathhouse exhibits are interesting, but the extraordinary stain glass art located throughout the museum is what I found most worthwhile.

I would have given it a 5 but when you're a museum, I feel the labeling is significant. There were pictures of some birds and nests with eggs that were not labeled in the basement section of the visitors center. Otherwise, well done! You do not need a National Park pass as entry is completely FREE

3 story bathhouse you can tour on your own, and it also serves as the Hot Springs National Park welcome center. Free entrance. You will learn a lot and have a peek into the past. Ride the old elevator and wonder around. Glad we stopped in.

This was a free museum that held a lot about the history of Hot Springs and the bath houses.
The museum is on 3 different floors and has a lot of things to look at.
There are also walking tours you can arrange from a park ranger at the reception.
I definitely recommend going there if you want to know more about the history of the town as well as how the hot springs came to be ☺️

We were able to do a self guided tour, which allowed us to take our time and hang in places where we wanted to look around or read more. The house is filled with very interesting and informative information. It was well kept and such a cool look into history!
