I've done the Mission food tour twice. The first time was about 10 years ago and I thought it was great then. Well ... it's still great! And Chris is still leading the tour - which I was very happy about. Chris provides a nice history of the Mission, he's also engaging, and makes the time go back quickly with his humor. You can tell he has great relationships with the local businesses which is really nice to see. I would highly recommend checking out the tour!

Still dreaming about that papusa! This tour was not only delicious, but as a longtime SF local, I was surprised by how many new spots I hadn’t been to before. We also learned so much about the Mission District’s history and some of the amazing small businesses that make it special. Chris was an incredible and hilarious guide who made the day so fun. Our family had an incredible time on the San Francisco Foodie Adventure Tour in the Mission District! This post-holiday outing was the perfect way to spend a day exploring one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.

Our guide, Chris Milano, was fantastic—entertaining, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and culture of the Mission District. He kept us engaged with fascinating stories about the area’s rich heritage while guiding us through a carefully curated selection of eateries.

We visited a variety of spots, including a butcher shop, a bakery, and several authentic Mexican restaurants, each offering unique and delicious flavors. The food was absolutely amazing, and we definitely indulged a little too much! From savory tacos to sweet pastries, every bite was memorable.

The tour ended on a lighthearted note with a fun raffle, adding a touch of excitement to an already enjoyable experience.

Overall, this was a delightful combination of food, culture, and fun. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this tour is a must-try for anyone looking to explore the Mission District through its culinary delights. Highly recommended!

Whenever we have visitors, and we end up in San Francisco, we make Foodie Adventures part of the experience! Chris is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes the experience worthwhile for all in the group. Both the Mission District and North Beach/China town are amazing! Can't wait to get back for another tour!

So glad our team decided on Foodie Adventures around East side of Mission district, SF! I had no idea what to expect but ended the day having learned so much about the history, culture, story, and background foundational to each of the foods, beverages, and sweets. Some of the best tacos and very much enjoyed learning about/from Chris. He beams with charisma and passion anytime food is involved and you can't help but to share it. The best mix of team bonding through food rich with so much history mixed with art and steps in between. Highly recommended!
