Amazing! We chose this trip for our first trip to SF. Eric was friendly, funny, and personable! We had an international crew, a few from England and a family from Australia. We were the only Texans. What a great time!

The jokes were funny, for dad jokes… and everyone felt comfortable enough to share with the group.

Started with the Golden Gate Bridge, went by Mrs. Doubtfire’s home, financial district. We made the painted lady houses and took pictures there at the lovely park. See pics of trees with carving tributes to Robin Williams.

We made a trip to Haight-Ashbury, which was cool and Eric gave recommendations for food, but of course, you can choose. We had pizza (see review for that deliciousness) and were able to shop for a few minutes.

Eric said he goes different ways according to the group, and he held true to that… we all were able to share our interests beforehand and he helped us to see things we desired. Loved that aspect.

Eric also was able to point us to different areas of interest AFTER the trip. We contacted him via email and communicated a bit that way. He responded the same day both times, but I also didn’t want to flood his inbox. :/

In the cost of this trip, which we found super reasonable… you also get to go to Alcatraz! That’s where you spend your afternoon. What a great trip for an entire day!

This is a great way to introduce yourself to San Francisco. I am sharing what pics I remembered to take while on this trip. There are plenty of blankets in the open air van. The bridge is windy and chilly, but Eric thought of everything!
Be sure to bring cash to tip! (We forgot so we used Venmo.)

SUPER JOB! One of our favorite things thus far and we are on Day 5 as of this writing.

We loved everything about this tour and highly recommend it! Eric is fantastic, so nice and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about San Francisco from him! This was our first visit to SF and we will definitely be back! We loved the van and the provided blankets for a chilly morning! We loved how he incorporated things into the tour based on his guests requests. We loved visiting the Fortune Cookie Factory and all the sights featured in memorable movies! Well for starters on a first tour,Eric was amazing,explained everything with details, he even ask us if there was any specific area we wanted to see.The trip in all was fantastic definitely must try..Eric two thumbs up.

We used Fogcutter Tours for a small group day trip to see large parts of San Francisco and the bay area, that Golden Gate Bridge, and a tour of Alcatraz. All parts of the overland tour were excellently conducted by Eric, who managed to get us to an unexpectedly large number of places without it feeling even slightly rushed. Highlights were the Golden Gate bridge, of course, Golden Gate Park, the Museum (?) Of Fine Arts, Coit Tower and Haight-Ashbury. The Alcatraz part of the tour was self guided, but we had a great time regardless and the audio guide is excellent and very engaging. All in all a great day out, well worth the money, very comfortable throughout, lots of rest stops and bathroom breaks, stunning views, very interesting storytelling and a fascinating guide into San Francisco. Highly recommended.
