We had an amazing time on our dolphin tour with Captain Chris! He was knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience unforgettable. Not only did we see tons of dolphins, but we also spotted a ray, a sea turtle, starfish, and even jellyfish! Captain Chris shared great stories and local insights, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. It was such a memorable and laid-back adventure—highly recommend booking with him if you’re looking to make the most of your time on the water!

Many incredible memories were made on our tour with Chris! We saw sea turtles, a large pod of dolphins, & spent time at shell island where we snorkeled and both of my kids found sand dollars. Chris, being a marine biologist, sat with us and taught us about sea creatures he’d found on the ocean floor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he’s passionate about marine life. We never felt rushed through our tour and Chris was right along with us as we explored the water and shore of shell island. He took photos throughout and shared them with us too! Chris was so much fun and we’d 100% book another tour if we return to the area for vacation!

My husband and I loved the time with Captain Chris! It was 3 weeks ago and we are still talking about it. When looking for a tour, we are glad we chose "Flippin' Awesome". Honestly, my husband balked a bit at the cost; he now realizes it costs more because it is WORTH it. We already know we are going to book with Captain Chris when we come back. Captain Chris was able to personalize our time on the boat. As a very amateur photographer, I was hoping to get some pictures of pelicans diving into the ocean. Thanks to Chris, we were able to get some good pics of that and other beautiful sea life. He maneuvered the boat so the sun was at my back and I got better pics. I didn't even ask him to do that! On Shell Island, he educated us and helped us pick out unique shells for our grandsons. We even found a part of shark's tooth! We were able to take our time. We learned, laughed, relaxed, and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thanks for the memories, Captain Chris.

Chris our captain was not only a certified marine biologist but also one of the most knowledgeable and passionate people. He made the entire trip both educational and wildly entertaining—from fascinating facts about marine life to fun stories that kept us laughing. His energy is contagious, and he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure led by someone who truly knows (and loves) the ocean, this is the place to go. 100% recommend!

This experience was so amazing! Capt. Chris is super fun and knowledgeable- he knew right where to look for all of the creatures that make this area so special! We saw multiple dolphin pods, including momma's and babies! We saw sea turtles, Bonnethead sharks, giant lightning welks, seastars! We also found several sand dollars, including a rare purple arrowhead sand dollar! Sea urchins, crabs. It was such a great experience all around! If you're looking for something to do that's fun for all ages, call Chris and book a trip! In my opinion, you won't be disappointed! I've included several pics from today's awesome adventure!

Captain Chris was the best tour guide ever! He was very funny and serious when needed to be. He showed us around shell island and around the bay. We saw dolphins, rays, turtles, sharks we even got hands on experience with sea stars, sea urchins, live sand dollars and so many more. If anyone is looking for a great tour around Panama City to not only see these beautiful creatures but also to learn about them definitely plan a tour with captain chris! Captain Chris did a great job making sure we saw wildlife! On our trip we saw multiple dolphins, sea turtles, sea urchins & more. Not only is he knowledgeable about the wildlife but also the area. We had two three-year-olds and they absolutely had a blast & was so comfortable on the boat (that tells you something). We were able to anchor at shell island and play on the beach for a good amount of time as well. I’m so glad we went with more of a “mom & pop” feel tour vs a large chain for the dolphin tour; it felt so genuine (like one of our friends invited us out on their boat) and we had a great time. 10/10 recommend. The only downfall is I wish we booked a longer time to be out there having a great time!

I cannot say enough good things about Flippin Awesome Adventures! Our group of 4 had the best time! We saw so many awesome sea creatures, and our captain Chris was the absolute best. If you’re looking for a private charter, this is the one!
