She recommended some very fun experiences like knife making that I would never have thought to book on my own! I only had only one day to spend in Kyoto, and they created an itinerary completed personalized on my interests. I also got to check out some pottery shops to buy nice souvenirs. The guide, Laura, was incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you!!

I’m so glad I reached out to Venesse when the group said it was full on Airbnb! This was a great start to my trip in Japan! I met lovely people that I was able to continue to meet up with throughout my trip. I even accidentally ran into someone while exploring Japan. She took us to amazing spots and showed us to hidden places. The food spot that we went to served THE BEST GYOZA IN JAPAN and we had some type of stuffed chicken gyoza, which was crazy good. I am allergic to fish, but the group I was with let me eat more gyoza so I don’t have an allergic reaction. Anyways book the bar hopping tour now!

One of the most fun nights on our whole Japan holiday was the FLIP Tokyo bar crawl! As a tourist it can be challenging to find the best spots to visit and have an organised plan, let alone manage ordering interesting things if you don't speak Japanese. Venese took care of all this with ease and I'm still thinking about the delicious gyoza filling stuffed chicken wings izakaya she took us to. Such a great way to make new friends in the group as well. Thank you Venese for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

Amazing tour of Akihabara. Leon was the most outstanding guide. Knowledgeable, passionate and customer focused. Leon went above and beyond and took our Tokyo visit to the next level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Our 16-day multi-city Japan trip would not have been possible without Venese and FlipJapan! She created a fantastic itinerary - allowing for both self-guided and Venese-led tours. Venese was very personable and listened to our interests prior to and during our visit. She was very patient and flexible with the itinerary - especially when it rained during our first 2 days in Tokyo. She really made sure we experienced the best of the diverse cultural and street-food scenes Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka had to offer. This one of the funnest nights we had in Tokyo while meeting some awesome people from around the world. Venese was an excellent guide and took us to various bars that had delicious food and drinks (umeshu, a drink with a snake in it and a flaming Lamborghini to name a few) that we would have never found on our own. She even was kind enough to share recommendations of other neighborhoods to check out as well as different restaurants to visit at the Tsukiji outer market that we were going to in a couple days. Would highly recommend this tour!!
