Let me start by saying this was one of the most pleasurable and memorable places I have ever stayed ! Myself and a few friends rented a cabin at Lobo landing .We went on a guided fishing tour and caught our limit of fish which was an absolute blast, but back to the cabin. Rarely have I ever rented a place that exceeds my expectations. The photos on their website are beautiful but it honestly doesn't do the place justice. We could have literally eaten off of the floors, this place was immaculate and so cozy ! Everything from dishes, coffee, and many more amenities were there waiting on us. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch counting the stars. We will certainly be back!

Don't stay with them! Nothing about the cabin from the owner to the cleanliness was appealing. The owner bragged about his "$250,000.00 cabin" which turned out to be a $25,000.00 kit cabin that had potential if the owners would keep it clean. If you have a service animal they are not allowed, but if his wife hears the conversation she is smart enough to know that her husband was breaking the law by not allowing service animals. All in all, you can try it for yourself if you want to but you will be dissatisfied.

My boyfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights. It was right on the Little Red River and just minutes away from Heber Springs. We hit some of the small shoals and had more success of catching trout there. They have a dock that you can rent kayaks, boats, canoes, etc. Very nice owners even though we never met them and only communicated through text/call. But, overall a very well experience and would recommend it.

Stayed at Firefly Cabins Lobo Landing #15 October 16th through the 20th 2019 and the cabin was fabulous. When I made the reservation, the communication with the owner was constant all the way through our arrival and departure. When we decided to add another night to our trip, it was done with ease with the owner. Upon our arrival early into Heber Springs, I made a quick call to the owner, and a very quick call was returned allowing us to check in earlier than expected with no issues. After we arrived the owner called to check on the fireplace and to see if the gas was on and the pilot light to the fireplace. The gas was on but to the amazing temperatures we made no attempt to light it. While out on the amazing Red River below cabin #15 the next day, the owner stopped by to light the pilot light and to check and see if we needed anything. (Exceptional Customer Service)
The cabin is a short walk to Lobo Landing Boat Dock and landing. Or just walk down to the river in your backyard of cabin. The staff at marina was exceptionally friendly, we could fish off of dock anywhere we wanted and caught plenty of fish. We did use Greg from Little Red River Fly Fishing Service for 2 days who is recommended by Firefly Cabins and the fish was exceptionally over the top, as we tore into them on the 2nd day which made for some very sore arms the next day and sore lips for the trout.
The #15 cabin was completely stocked and furnished and more than welcoming. If your thinking about a rental with Firefly, quit thinking and book it. This place was amazing, the people in and around the area are so friendly. Can't wait to return some day!!! THANKS TIM!!

I will make this review as short as I possibly can. First off, Firefly Cabins IS NOT part of the same company as The Cabins at Lobo Landing. Firefly Cabins is owned by a man named Tim. He is very rude and unprofessional. My first issue with him wasn't until we were on our way down for our Memorial Weekend vacation. We told him that we had a service dog, to which he stated that we were not allowed to bring him because pets were not allowed in the cabins. It wasn't UNTIL he spoke to his attorney that he then changed his tune. He then told us that we could bring him but that he would have to do "extra cleaning of the pet dander after we left for people with allergies". Needless to say, we boarded our dog for the weekend. THEN, we arrived at the Cabin. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you, this place WAS FILTHY!! All of the pics will justify what I am talking about. After the second day there I called Tim to tell him the conditions of the cabin and it didn't go over well. In both of the conversations that was had with him he mentioned an attorney in some form or another. The only part that was acceptable in our stay with Firefly Cabins was that Tim gave us a 15% discount because we complained. We will NOT be back.

My sons and I sure needed to get away, fish and lush it up. That’s exactly what we did in cabin 15. Everything needed is provided including charcoal lighter fluid. My oldest son has mobility issues his favorite was being able to relax in the jacuzzi tub. The cabin is set up perfectly for him. We wore the fish out, ate like kings, had a huge fire, s’mores, played poker and watched movies all night long.

We stayed here for a week and didn’t want to come home! Place was beautiful and we spent a great deal of time in that screened porch! The place was clean and well appointed. When we needed new towels halfway through the week they brought them immediatly. The river was amazing and we were able to get our kayaks out and do some fishing. We will be back!

I will not stay at his cabin again. No service. Apparently there is no one locally to take care of any problems like needing towels or tissue. He must live out of town and will not answer calls. The cabin was not clean and trash not picked up outside. He is a smooth talker but that is all it is. Normally I would not leave a negative review but I feel others should be warned.
