Fantastically curated north woods experience hosted by two of the kindest Midwesterners you'll ever meet. You can expect to have a peaceful and quiet vacation in clean cabins directly over the water. You literally fish for hours right off your back porch. The hosts have BINGO night on Monday and an all family potluck dinner on Tuesday so you can get to know your neighbors if you want. Boats and motors are available and well maintained. You can also rent pontoons. Canoes and paddle boats are included free. Each cabin comes with a charcoal grill and picnic table. Live bait and ice available onsite at reasonable prices. The pool is a nice retreat tucked back into the woods and very refreshing and clean. If you want to just get away, this is a great option for groups small and large.

Sweetest Hosts with a great place! The views are gorgeous and the stay is more than comfortable.

We were a group of 5 friends and we enjoyed each moment. I hope stayed a bit longer.

Not as advertised at all. The pictures on the website are not a current representation of the facility. I would not stay here. I do NOT recommend staying here. We had booked for one week and left after one night. I wish dearly that I could get our deposit back.

Planned a week for 2 people. We had been there years earlier and never wanted it to end. When we went back, we couldn't wait to leave! Using old pictures. Talked to owner who told me nothing had changed since we had been there. Everything changed it was a slum property. We didn't have stairs going into our cabin. We slept with our clothes on and left at first lite. I hope it's changed but they shouldn't use old pictures of when it was a wonderful place to go!

6/16/22 - Another relaxing stay at the resort. Unfortunately we could only stay 3 nights this time but it was still great to be there. Dan's and Diane's hospitality was excellent as usual. Great people to spend time with.

7/21 - Our family spent an awesome, 5 day relaxing vacation at the resort. Dan and Diane were very friendly and responsive. They are investing good money into improving the resort and we look forward to staying there again next year.

Absolutely love Fay Lake Resort. We look forward to staying in the cozy cabins all year! It is a great place for fishing and relaxing. Has a wonderful homey feel and is run by two caring people. The bar and pool provide somewhere to be social if that is your wish, but the cabins are peaceful if you choose to sit on the deck and read. And we love that the cabins are over the water! Dog friendly too (which is a must in our family!). Going up to Fay Lake Resort is the best weekend of my year!

Vabins are nice and affordable. Wonderful fishing right out your back door. The owners are great. Do thier best to make sure you have a great time.
