My wife and I recently completed a two week trip to Argentina with Exploration Journeys. It was our first time in Argentina and it was a wonderful trip. We visited Buenos Aires, Bariloche, El Calafate and Iguazu Falls. Each destination was wonderful and our accommodations and guides were excellent! The itinerary that Fred and his team put together was first class! We had a video conference with Fred to create our itinerary and his suggestions and ideas were very helpful. We were able to see the things that were important to us and do it in a very efficient manner.
The travel booklet is such a wonderful resource! It provides almost all the information that you need. And the few questions we had were answered quickly by Fred’s staff. Exploration Journeys took care of all the details for us. All transfers were flawless. We were checked in for each of our five domestic flights by Fred’s staff.
My wife and I have traveled extensively since we retired over a decade ago. This trip was one of the best trips we have taken. With Fred and Exploration Journeys everything is taken care of, all we had to do was enjoy!

Thank you Exploration Journeys for your expertise and thoughtfully organizing our trip to Argentina in November 2024. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Exploration Journeys!! When I first began my vacation search, I knew very little about Argentina. The helpful staff took my limited wish list and gave me personalized choices. They were so kind and patient and ended up with 9 itinerary adjustments before we put together our perfect trip. Their travel booklet was priceless. It answered so many questions ahead of time and made me feel much more comfortable about traveling to a continent I'd never visited.

Once finalized we were going to visit Ushuaia, El Calafate, and Mendoza and have 6 planned days of various tours and sites. Several weeks before traveling, they encountered some flight changes and took care of everything to rearrange and still allow our trip to be the same. The day of departure to Argentina, we had some airport issues and were delayed a full 24 hours. I contacted the staff of Exploration Journeys and they had my itinerary recovery plan before I woke up the next morning.

When we arrived at every airport, every hotel, and every tour or event, we were welcomed by amazingly nice drivers and guides. Everything was on time, efficient and seamless. We had special seating areas and elite services that I would have never found or known about on my own. I have never been on a trip that was so well organized. This made it as stress free as possible and I was able to enjoy every minute.

I wish that Exploration Journeys was available in every traveling destination!

We are family of 4 just returned from a 12-days tour with Exploration Journeys. It was excellent in every way; we choose which the cities we would like to visit and preferred duration of the tour.

The itinerary was well planned and supported by Fred & his team behind the scenes and making sure we had everything we needed or wanted along the way: we felt coddled!

Argentina Exploration Journeys was not only outstanding but deserved an extra-ordinary review. We booked our international flights, and they took care of the rest - hotels, transfers, in-country air including seat selection, private and small- group tours and most importantly - local guides. Everything was well-done, and we felt that we not only hit all the tourist sites that were important to us, but that we also were exposed to the "real" people and lives in Argentina.

All of the guides were locals who had excellent depth of knowledge and had experience far beyond their tourism jobs. We came away feeling that we were leaving not just guides, but new friends.

We cannot recommend Fred & his team more! I was slightly nervous about visiting Argentina with the current inflation and having to fly 36 hours to Argentina from our home country in Far East but I assure you there is absolutely nothing to be worried about! We felt completely safe and in the hands of professionals at all times.

We have never done this before, we are independent travelers who usually rent a car, find our own lodging, etc. But Argentina is different and Exploration Journeys made it so easy! This took away all the stress.

In the mid of the tour, we had a flight delayed and subsequently cancelled due to heavy storm in Buenos Aires, but Fred was fast and took preventive measures to inform us early in the morning at 4am, checking possible alternative plans and booking us the needed flights to secure availability, even way before our original flight was cancelled. This was crucial action to solve the issue in order to minimize disruption on our original itinerary.

But once again, Fred & his team never failed to impress us with their responsive, high-efficiency and professionalism. Not only our trip was perfect, we got to enjoy the extra night at our favorite city with an additional tour, which we greatly appreciated.

We also loved the Travel Booklet with all the information of the tour: pick-up time, local contact, hotel facilities and good restaurant recommendations in each city.

I believe they're not the cheapest tour operator around, but choice of accommodation & quality of services already surpasses what we have paid for.

We highly recommend Exploration Journeys for the trip of the life-time.
