Did the 3 hour photo pole boat tour, at 7 am, solo. The tour was terrific and well worth the cost. The guide was really knowledgable and sensitive to photographic opportunities (moved slowly and quietly, good spotter). Saw/shot a wide variety of birds - nearly every variety of heron/egret and off course gators. Highly recommend for nature photographers.

I was able to book through Jack on the phone who was very helpful and accomplished.

Ralph was my guide
He was wonderful, calm energy matching with the peace and magic of the place.
I booked the private photography tour.
I loved the authentic gladesmen boat, that we used.
It was large and stable, I could lay down or stand up to take pictures without a problem.
Most importantly I felt very safe.

At first I was very concerned about entering the natural habitat of those huge alligators.
I seriously thought that could be dangerous.
Ralph informed me prior the Eco Tour.

Those Florida Alligators are naturally afraid of humans and they stay away from us, at the exception of those who have been fed by human hand. Those can be dangerous but remain rare.

The larger the alligator is, the more experienced it is and therefore it knows that human are up to know good and it’s best to stay away from us.

During my 3 hour tour I have encountered 6 alligators and felt very safe.
I wanted to share, that those alligators in the Everglades are different from Australian Crocodiles.

In Australia they see humans as preys not as predators and they will hunt us.
That s probably where my fear to do this tour came from.
Once fully informed I felt very reassured and was able to relax and embrace this magic moment .

Ralph was extremely knowledgeable about this fauna and the flora. I was fascinated about how much he knew and how wonderful is the world of the mangrove.

We did the pole boat night safari tour. Despite the rain we had an amazing time. Our guide Jeff was fantastic, he has deep links with the Everglades, evident through his knowledge and stories that he shared with us on our tour. It was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with him. The swamp was so pretty and peaceful.

A bit disorganised, but to be fair we wanted to book a kayak tour the same day and called early in the morning. Ended up just renting kayaks and going by ourselves. Great experience! Kayaks were great, amazing nature and saw many alligators!

We took a pole boat tour with Bonesy on Christmas day. All logistics were perfect. He was so entertaining at explaining & finding examples of local wildlife, ecosystems, history. Highly recommend this well-run company!

Very nice tour guide (Trey) with amazing knowledge about the history of the Everglades. Always felt safe in the kayak. Prices for a private tour were not cheap but worth it! Store and all staff professional and highly motivated.

I had a great experience renting a kayak today. The staff was incredibly friendly. The store was fun to browse in, bathrooms were clean. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in SW Florida visiting. I was able to see some Gators on the river, which was a new experience for me. Hopefully next time won't be so hot.

We had a wonderful time as our guide brought us down the black river and through the various samp hammocks used by the native Americans of the area. We did the evening pole boat tour and were happy with our choice.
