This was our first time staying here at the Even Hotel in Norwalk, CT. Staff was friendly, accommodating and the room was very nice. Roomy, clean and spacious. Our experience was mostly positive with the exception of just a couple of areas that could use some improvements. Lower cover sheet for the bed could use a new cover. Looked pretty beat up (see photo). Door to bathroom needs some lubricant to fully close. Doesn’t close fully and this room doesn’t have dressers to store your clothes. However overall stay went well and we would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here a few times and its been pretty mediocre every time. This time was by far the worst. The man working the desk at check in was very friendly and got us set quickly. This was the only positive part of the stay. The entire lobby was taken up by an extremely loud group of people seemingly having a family reunion with several 30 racks of beer. I dont mind people hanging out or having fun but this was loud screaming that was still going on into the night time despite the clear be quiet signage. Not one staff member told them to mind their noise. When we got to our room it was awful. It was dirty and many things were broken or missing, from the shelves near the TV to the squeaking bed that wakes you up everytime you move, to the shower falling apart. This was just awful. It culminated in check out when we greeted the woman working the next morning with a smile and friendly hello. She said nothing so we said "we would like to check out please" and she rolled her eyes and pointed at a basket behind the counter, again saying nothing. We have tried to make this hotel work as we are in the area often but when we left my wife and i both agreed we would rather sleep in the car than stay here ever again.

I enjoyed my stay. The location was very convenient and the hotel itself is very modern. I wish the staff was more engaging instead of just being about checking you in and out and going about their business. The only things I would change are the need for bar soap, a C-style charging port in the rooms and the staff to be more friendly.

I recently stayed at this IHG hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The property is beautifully designed, with a modern yet welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The attention to detail in the decor gives it a unique charm, setting it apart from other hotels.

I have to say this is a great hotel.

Had a 2 night stay at this hotel in Norwalk for $270 plus a $100 deposit. ||The lobby is nice and has fresh water and other goodies for purchase. If you pay an extra $15/person, you can receive their breakfast. I ordered an omelet and a waffle. However, for soke reason, the kitchen staff told my partner he could only have 2 items, yet we paid for 2 breakfasts/day. Not sure why this was an issue.||The veggie omelet was not very pleasing to the tongue, but the waffle was nicely done. It could have gone w/o the added sweet yogurt. Seems they try to push a healthier eating regiment while at the hotel. ||The room was spacious, yet devoid of a microwave. It had pull cords and a yoga mat for those wishing to exercise. ||Though one always enjoys having a clean room, the cleaning ladies this past Saturday afternoon were extremely loud and boisterous on the 2nd floor. ||And, you can really hear the banging of room doors from the hallway and dogs in nearby rooms. Also, had to request a toilet paper as they only had one available. ||Also, did not appreciate that I had to go downstairs to pick-up my Doordash. I do not see where that stipulation is mentioned on website or upon check-in. It is a bit of an annoyance if I am paying tip for delivery, yet have to get my own food delivery. ||Have also requested to receive my final receipt 2x, and have yet to receive it.

Never will I stay here again! I will also try to not stay at any IHG again! 194$ on a Thursday night,that's theft,and the computer was down so others couldn't check in and I couldn't purchase a soft drink.I should have stayed at another hotel. The girl was nice at the desk and the bed was comfy. The sink has hair in it and so did the tub,really come on, ridiculous hotel,not cool😡

The rooms are basic, not very well designed in terms of storage space. The frosted glass bathroom door does not allow much privacy. The hotel’s concept is wellness and the rooms have a few workout equipments but our room had most equipment missing. Good blackout shades. The girl at the reception didn’t seem to be working on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. She didn’t smile much and seemed to be doing her job reluctantly.

The room and towels had a strange odor. There were no toiletries. The soap in the dispensers did not smell good. We went two nights without a tv. The website advertises free breakfast but it was not free. It also did not taste good. The hotel did have a very nice gym though.
