Escape RV Rental - Orlando, Florida

We rented from this company for a week this December for a stay at Fort Wilderness. We ended up having to go through this company as a result of Disney’s new policy which only allows rentals from a short list of approved companies.

The company’s booking process was straightforward and their pre-arrival process was handled well. On our arrival day, they went in and set up everything on time as promised.

My main issue with this company is the condition of the unit we rented. We rented the Belle unit and our total rental cost for our stay from December 8 - 15 was $2,259 with all taxes and fees. This breaks down to $322 per day. This is obviously a pretty high price for an RV rental when you also have to consider the amount paid to Disney for the space as well. At that price, I believe the units condition was unacceptable.

The unit was advertised to sleep 10 people which I struggle to see how that would even be possible. There was a main bedroom which would sleep 2 adults, a smaller bedroom with a pull out also fitting 2 people, a loft space which really would only fit 2 children and a pull out in the living room which could sleep 2. However, for us, the pull out in the second bedroom was completely unusable and broken. The beds were also very uncomfortable and the linens were just cheap sheets and an assortment of random blankets.

The bathroom was a decent size but the shower was door was broken with a poor makeshift solution. Cushions were ripped in some places as well. We also had the fridge turn off randomly twice during our stay, ruining all of the food we had purchased and repurchased after the first time.

The company was quick to send out a tech to check the fridge issue on both occasions which was appreciated. The owner also called after the second fridge issue and indicated the company would do something financially to address the experience but then never followed up and no such action was taken.

Unfortunately, you don’t have a lot of options when it comes to Disney but I would definitely recommend looking at the other few companies before renting with Escape. We will definitely not be using them again. For the price you end up paying, you are better off renting a hotel room or one of the cabins now available at Fort Wilderness.

We had originally planned to use another rental company for our camping trip, but they canceled on us the evening before we were supposed to leave—on a Friday night, no less. Thankfully, Brent, the owner of this company, stepped in and truly saved the day!

Not only did he answer the phone late in the evening, but he also went above and beyond to make sure we were all set up for my daughter’s birthday camping trip. The camper they provided was absolutely beautiful, and very reasonably priced.

I can’t say enough great things about Brent and this company—their dedication and service are unmatched. Thank you so much for turning a stressful situation into an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing experience with Escape RV rental at Fort Wilderness. The communication was phenomenal and the customer service was top notch. This was our first time renting an RV, and we could not be happier. Everything in "Mack" was very clean and organized, and it had all the necessities that we needed. It was nice to have the Keurig, bedding, towels, outdoor chairs and so much more provided. It was a wonderful weekend, and we will definitely use them in the future.

First time renting from here due to Disney changing policies on outside trailer rentals. Well the booking process was easy - overall just disappointed in the state of the trailer (Starport 75). Arrived to it being set up and they set out a pop up tent to use and a rolled up rug for us to set up. Little disappointed they didn’t pre-cool the fridge as our previous rental company would. What we didn’t realize is the awning doesn’t work so no power to the awning means no exterior lights either. So be prepared to bring extra lightning cause it does get dark without any outside lights.
Was expecting usual minor wear and tear but there is damage in almost every area - peeling doors, dings, weather striping coming off etc. Also wasn’t expecting to have to mop floors on this trip but didn’t want to keep having black socks or feet. Counters and everything else needed to be wiped down as well:
Bedding - I wish I brought a comforter or pillows from home. There are only sheets on the bed. I did find the cabinet that house the blankets but they are just three blankets and one of which is an uncomfortable military wool style blanket. One of the pillows is plastic Not sure who would want to use that.
We are glamping , so I get it but still would have liked it to be cleaner and kept up. At minimum would have like to been prepped to have more lights for outside and an actual comforter or something.

We love these rentals. Everything is ready to go. Everything you could need. Plenty of room for my entire family and able to have plenty of kitchen space. The one time we had any issue, they had a crew there to fix and my sleeping toddler inside had no issue. We keep coming back and will again.

Great Experience! Camper was very clean & came with all the necessities. Staff at Escape RV was super nice & answered all questions we had.
Everything was set up upon arrival & made it so easy for us to be able to relax & enjoy our time together as a family. We will definitely use again in the future!

We are so happy we found Escape RV Rental!! The BEST customer service we’ve had in a while. No voice mails, no automation you speak with a real person that enjoys their job. Our RV had everything we expected and more! Included all dishes, cookware, toilet paper, even lawn chairs and outdoor mat. The pick up at the airport was the bonus 🤩 no waiting, no hassles with car rental, no extra fee for taxi or Uber. And!! we were able to leave the rv at the airport for pick up. They were just amazing to work with. We highly recommend using them. We will be returning. 😁 Excellent job guys!
