We recently stayed at this hotel as we were passing through Jacksonville. Overall the hotel was decent - friendly, fast staff and very clean rooms but they could use some upgrading. The breakfast was pretty good with a lot of options and hot food. My biggest complaint though was that the room next to us, the hallway outside of our room to the elevators, and the elevator itself smelled of weed the entire time. We couldn’t walk out of our room without it reeking of that smell. It was definitely unpleasant, especially with our 4 month old baby in tow.

Overall pleasant 6 night stay. It was pretty busy due to being the week of Christmas - particularly long lines at breakfast. The food ran out a few times and so guests were left waiting a few minutes for more to be put out. There should be a better process of staff monitoring food and being more proactive - would have been a better experience rather than staff being reactive and getting more pancakes or bacon only after guests point it out.

I was only able to get a made-to-order omelette twice during the whole stay, though I will say that Gwen who was working the omelette station was working really quickly and efficiently, doing her best to keep things moving!

There was plenty of parking and I was always able to get a spot near the entrance so I always felt safe leaving and returning in the morning and late at night.

The room was very spacious and I really like the layout of having a front room separate from the bedroom. The furniture and fixtures are dated but overall everything was clean. I do wish there were hooks on the wall (for hats and jackets) and an extra one on the back of the bathroom door (for clothes or another towel when showering). That was my only major hangup with the room (pun intended).

I checked out at 3:30am to catch an early flight and unfortunately I could not find a luggage trolly (I searched the front and back entrances) and there was nobody readily available in the lobby to ask for help so my kids and I had to lug all our bags down to our car on our own. It was manageable but not convenient as I wasted time looking for something that was not available where it should have been.

I was hesitant about this reservation after reading some of the negative reviews. We did not encounter any of the noted problems and had a nice stay. The property is older and is the traditional Embassy layout. Some things are dated, like the popcorn ceilings and walls, but we found everything clean and well maintained.||Our room was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately, our first room had a malfunctioning AC. The engineer was busy so they moved us to the room next door, where everything worked well. The staff were very nice and accommodating.||Our room was comfortable and clean. There was some road noise and the water pressure was weak.....probably a "low flow" showerhead.||There's a small fitness center that was fairly well equipped. The evening reception and breakfast were typical for Embassy. Breakfast was somewhat crowded.||Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would return.

Clean room. Food is actually pretty good. Pool was closed two of the three days we stayed which was horrible for my kids. Luckily there are a few things to do nearby which helped. Service was great at the front desk. Kim was extremely helpful with everything we needed. If the pool wasn't closed I'd give it four stars

This was my family's second trip to Jacksonville between Christmas and New Year's in the past few years. Both trips we stayed at the Embassy Suites Jacksonville Baymeadows. We like the rooms not visible from the atrium as they are quiet. The hotel has a nice pool and great breakfast. We would consider staying here again if in the area.

Everything was just okay. My family and I stayed in an atrium room on a Saturday evening to Sunday am. Upon arrival, we did get a free drink voucher between 5 and 6 pm and 2 complimentary waters since we were rewards members which was nice! They didn't have any carts available, so we struggled to bring everything up by hand. Even checking out now, no carts smh. For the amount you pay, they should have many carts available where they should be. Breakfast was just okay, the little potatoes home fries were so cold and hard, omelet was not made that great, you can taste the tomatoes softness and the spinach wetness!! Yuck! No taste on anything what so ever but anyways I got over that! Also upon arrival I was charged an additional 100 fee on top of the room fee for a deposit. I thought most hotels do separate fees and put a hold on the deposit then release the hold and not charge if everything is good when you leave!! Idk. I just know I was charged over 3 something for 1 night. Room wasn't the best condition but at that point I just wanted to stay because we didn't have a choice and leave in the morning. There were not laundry bags, no toiletries items, body gel ran out after 3 pumps!!! Towels had red stuff on it, not sure if it was stains or what... I was really disguisted and not happy to say the least!

Rooms were nice but needs an upgrade. Breakfast was great on day 1. Plenty to choose from and hot. However the other days food was okay and eggs were barely warm, pastries were almost frozen and no variety. Still a good place just not what we usually get at Embassy.

Rooms were good and very clean. The furniture was a little dated, but it was still clean and comfortable. The check-in line was a little lengthy, but they worked fast to get you checked in when there were only two desks. The two free cocktail drinks is always a hit and much appreciated. We also ordered the wings, they were good. Breakfast was awesome, except the normal, where people do not watch their children and let them play over food instead of getting it for them. I always enjoy myself at ES. Keep up the good work. I'll be back!
