Absolutely loved the experience with Adam and Lily. After a bit of confusion on how to get there (listen to them when they email you the directions) we had a wonderful trip.

Our horses were gentle and easy to ride. Me and my girls (11 & 15) have ZERO experience with horses and we felt at ease on them. My wife (who owned a horse) commented on how great and well-trained they are. I had Dusty and he was great to ride.

Scenery tops it all it. It was fantastic. Next trip, we are doing the half day trip.

Did a two hour ride. It was just right considering we had a 9 year old. Lilly, I think was her name, did a good job at leading our 9 year olds horse while also leading and engaging in conversation. Might come back for the half day next time! Thanks all!

Wonderful experience! Took kids 9 to 14 years-old and they loved it! The adults did too. Was expecting the usual boring slug of horse rental rides and was so pleasantly surprised when they took us single track! The kids were thrilled! Horses in good shape. We had 3 guides for a group of 11. Safe and exciting at the same time. Highly recommend!

This outfitter is an awesome experience. The Wife and I did the two hour ride. You get to go through some nice wood areas and even up to a stream so the horse can drink if they want, you know the saying. My horse Smoke was quite a character who liked to try and eat but he was full of a funny attitude.

The guides are really down to Earth people who know what they are doing and the trails you go on. They are also really good with kids.

I highly recommend this place if you wanna go for a ride near Pagosa Springs. Also make sure to pack a rain jacket cause Colorado weather is highly unpredictable.

We did the 2 hour trail ride with our family of 5 and it was incredible! This was by far the best trail ride we have done. The guides were knowledgeable, personable, patient and adjusted throughout the ride to accommodate my kids and make the entire experience amazing. From the horses to the scenery this is a must do!

Today, 5 of us enjoyed a 2-hour trail ride with Adam and Justin. The well behaved horses took us through the most beautiful mountains we have ever experienced. Up and down the trails we took pictures and heard stories from the guides. We were a mix of lifelong riders to newbies, and we all had a great day. We will be returning to do an all day ride in late summer!

We had a great horse ride with Elk Heart Outfitters. The horses were well trained and the staff was knowledgeable. Lily did a wonderful job filling us in about the plant life, the views we were seeing and helped us all feel comfortable. I’m glad I was able to ride Utah (my horse on the trail!)

This was such an amazing idea experience. We were visiting Pagosa for the week for vacation. This was definitely a highlight of the trip.the horses were so sweet and we loved every bit of it. We booked them for an hour and they gave us an hour and a half without charging extra.
