We recently had the most wonderful experience in Cairo with Egypt tour guide extraordinaire Gus Gleiter, principal of Egypt Adventures Travel. We were short on time, just one day, 2 nights and Gus curated the best day ever that took in all the big sites, pyramids, sphinx, The Egyptian Museum and a walk in the old Cairo bazaar finishing with a rooftop restaurant looking over the city and feasting on local cuisine. The day was spent in air conditioned comfort with a driver and a terrific Egyptologist Manal who provided the ancient history, the facts and many wonderful anecdotes. Gus is an amazing tour guide - knowledgeable, fun, caring, personable and attuned to his client’s preferences and needs. He is an excellent communicator, regularly checking in to ensure our expectations are being met or exceeded. We also did a side trip to Morocco and Gus organised that for us through his connections. Can’t recommend Gus highly enough for personalised service, Egypt knowledge and his attention to detail.

We got in touch with Gus after researching our options and watching alot of YouTube videos on Gus and more travel experts, we looked at people's websites, read reviews etc. We read from Gus's website, reviews and what we watched of his YouTube videos we chose Gus at Eygpt Adventures Travel to help plan our Eygpt visit.

I must start by saying we booked Sharm El Sheikh thinking every tourist attraction was within driving distance and I couldn't have been more wrong, from Sharm its an hour flight to Cairo and so not to cut into my time in Sharm to much I opted to get an expert to advise, plan and help me.
I emailed Gus and explained how I messed up with my travel distances to places we wanted to visit and the email back was within a few hours. In the email from Gus he explained what he could do and how he could help as well as a payment fee which we paid for straight away. Gus arranged a zoom call and went through flights to places we wanted to visit as well as plenty of recommendations for hotels and restaurants from budget friendly, to an inbetween budget and to an high end budget. After the zoom call Gus planned our itinerary with numerous flights that had times of flight and flight numbers and details for us to book ourselves.
After reading the itinerary we chose our hotels then changed our minds after a few weeks past and went for hotels nearest the places we wanted to visit, then we booked all our flights (6 in total) letting Gus know step by step and he updated our itinerary each time so we knew what we had/hadn't booked. Gus then puts us on a group WhatsApp with Lulu who discussed how she could help us and her fee for everything we discussed, we paid straight away and Lulu planned and paid our private tours, tour guides and private transfers as well as lunch and other activities.

We all exchanged WhatsApp texts and tweaked about until everything was perfect, then Gus sent our final itinerary which was planned to perfect even though we panicked about 2 flights on the same day Gus was a WhatsApp message away and helped us with our boarding tickets at about 8am and he was there for us every step of the way sending the occasional WhatsApp to make sure we was OK or had any concerns, he is a true gentleman, very professional and as immense knowledge of everything to do with Eygpt and travel in Eygpt, he put our minds at ease so we could really enjoy everything we booked and we thank you so much for all your hard work in planning, organising Lulu as our tour operator and your help throughout our Eygpt visit.

Amazing 2 days private tour with Egypt Adventure. From the beginning Gus was so helpful with all the recommendations and suggestions. Ebram our guide was great as well the driver Hussain. Gus and Lulu’s Adventures did a fabulous job in helping us to coordinate our travels. we scheduled our travels in July. Our priorities were meeting with local friends, seeing key sites, and dealing with the heat. We had a relatively large group of 11 people. We received excellent advice on hotel recommendations. For most of our trip we had a bus to house our group and a tour guide. We spent our time between Cairo and Alexandria. we hired a boat for a dinner cruise on the Nile one evening and that was a clear highlight for the entire group. We went to the pyramids at 7 AM and it was relatively comfortable. We couldn’t be more pleased with how smoothly the trip went. Thanks again to Gus Lulu and our guide Mohammad.
