I, along with a longtime bestie, recently had the pleasure of taking a wine country tour with Edge of the World Tours, and it was absolutely fantastic! Mark, the owner, was our guide, and his passion for San Francisco history and wine was truly infectious. He shared fascinating stories and insights throughout the day, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations.
Mark's selection of wineries was impeccable. We visited three smaller, locally -owned wineries, each with its own unique charm and delicious wines. It was a wonderful opportunity to get away from the crowds and experience the true heart of California's wine country.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable wine country experience. I can't wait to return the area and book another tour with Edge of the World Tours in the future!

Five stars for this amazing experience.
Marc treated us in a very unique way.
We visited three amazing and lovely wineries in Napa and Sonoma, he enjoyed explaining to us the history of the California wine, the grapes, the specific micro climate that those areas have.
We really appreciated his way of talking with us while he drove us around those
beautiful landscapes.
As an Italian, I can only say, prove it on your skin and you'll see a different experience not only as a tourist but as a local.

I typically avoid group tours and prefer to explore on my own, but this time I decided to give these guys a shot for a tour of The Sonoma Wine region. I cannot describe how much fun this trip was. Anja was our tour guide and she was informative and FUN! The tour itself was easy going, low key and never rushed. They were very communicative, and arrived to pick me up at my hotel right on time. They also partner smaller, boutique wineries providing a much more intimate experience as opposed to visiting the large mega national wineries. If you have time while visiting the Bay Area, I highly suggest this tour - I will definitely do this again.

The Sonoma Wine tour was worth every dollar spent!! We were picked up on time and our guide Marc was funny, engaging and informative! All 3 wineries were pleasurable experiences, varied in their offerings and atmospheres. We got pleasantly buzzed on the wine. Nice lunch in Sonoma Square and finished off with a stop in Sausalito. A full day of fun and memorable experiences and views as you drive through the beauty of vineyards. Absolutely recommend!!

Our tour guide, Mark, was engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. He made the tour. We learned about the area, fun facts about wine and wine making, and just had an enjoyable day. Each winery was a small batch winery , and had its own style of wine making. I would highly recommend this day long wine tour.

My bestie and I planned an out west trip with the grand finale being a wine tour in Sonoma. We originally booked with another company and the cancelled on us with less than 24 hours notice. I found Edge of the World Tours and they have 2 spots left. Everything happens for a reason because we had a blast! Our tour guide, Anthony, was amazing, showing us all the sights, helped us with photos and made us all laugh! The wineries that were selected were off the beaten path and gave us an intimate feel. This was the best time and I highly recommend!!

I had the opportunity to go on a Sonoma County wine tour with Marc and could not recommend him and EOWT enough. I would recommend the wine tour and would love to do a private tour with him for a work event or just another private outing to wine country.

Pick up was on prompt and easy and Marc was incredibly friendly and personable. He memorized everyone’s names on the spot and made everyone feel comfortable, is a great conversationalist and also had really insightful SF facts throughout the ride to Sonoma (that’s saying a lot as a proud San Francisco native myself).

We visited three different spots on the tour that day and got a great variety of all that Sonoma has to offer: from really small and local wineries that actually grow their own grapes to larger, established vineyards with beautiful grounds. The tour featured different vineyards and tasting rooms. I always felt we had enough time at each place to enjoy the wine and walk around.

We also stopped by downtown Sonoma for lunch and Sausalito on the way back. These were great additional stops and gave us a break from wine tasting. For those coming from out of town and looking to hit up different cities outside of San Francisco, it’s a great opportunity to explore.

11/ 10 would recommend Marc + Edge of the World Tours for the Sonoma wine tour and will be looking for another opportunity to book them for a private tour.
