Visiting friends in Arcadia. Room was large, adequately clean. Not a 5 star resort, but they don't claim to be. Worked well for my needs. Mini fridge, microwave, tv. All worked fine. Right on the highway, so road noise could be an issue for some, didn't bother me much. Would stay again if I'm in the area.

The Good things:
Great hot shower...
Spacious room...
Maybe the price?

The bad:
Less than 30 ft from a busy road that's noisy...
A pile of blankets on the floor would be more comfortable than the bed...
No breakfast

Leading up to the hurricane I was terrified. I live in an RV and needed somewhere secure to stay. I was able to get a reservation and was thrilled. I called the 2 days leading up but no one answered. I left a voicemail and did not get a call back. I even called the day I was supposed to check in.

I drove an hour to get there and was told they decided to close and that the city "forced them to close because they were in an evacuation zone." I asked why I wasn't contacted and the lady told me "we don't have peoples phone numbers or emails." I don't know how that is possible, I booked online and gave all of my info. I was left with no where to go. As I went out to my car a police officer was by the road. I asked him about the hotel and he told me they are not in an evacuation zone and were not forced to close.

I went to the Holiday inn down the road and was told they have been getting people all day from the economy inn and they had no rooms. I had to drive 3 hours to make it somewhere else to stay.

I understand there was a hurricane but all other hotels and motels in Arcadia were open. It is unconscionable to leave people in a lurch like this during an emergency. I didn't need anywhere nice, I didn't need water or power, I needed a secure building.

I would not recommend this hotel, especially due to their ethics.

Booked a room in advance (direct booking), get confirmation and confirmation email. Get to Economy Inn and they refused us and said they aren't accepting bookings. Lady was very rude and unhelpful. Then we had to scramble for a new accommodation last minute costing me more money, time and energy. Would have been nice to get a call or email (or even update your site) and not have to go there to find out. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else with better customer service.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. After I checked in, we went straight to the room to make a pit-stop before meeting family for dinner. When we walked in the room had an odor of sewage, hair in the sink and shower, and a few bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Was disgusted enough to just leave the key card on the desk in the room and walk out. Did not attempt to try and get a refund and was not interested in being provided a discount or another room. I did not feel addressing the issue with staff was necessary because we would not have felt comfortable there. So don’t was your $130.

I travel a lot for work. This is the most expensive (over $100) place I've come across for a room where the A/C was not on when I walked into the room, so of course the room was hot. The A/C has been running now for about 30 minutes, still hot in the room.

No way I come back here, not worth the $$$.

The lady who checked me is was so sweet and nice. I had one problem when I got to my room it was not clean but the same lady that checked me made a call and there was only two ladies cleaning up but it didn’t take long they came and clean my room and I shower and got in bed and sleep good and they gave me a good room 130 and I was happy. I felt safe and I will be back hopefully this weekend to see my husband.

For the price of this place, it exceeded my expectations when arriving. Clean, large rooms with looks like updated bathrooms. You can get your room clean everyday or walk outside to the housekeeper and get fresh towels n linens. The nice lady at the front desk, Barb, is super chill and very nice!! The housekeeper too! I've stayed here for a week now and will probably be staying for another week or two and haven't had any real issues with anything. I cant complain. Very big property with picnic bench with covering to sit. I would recommend staying here.
