Honestly, it was a lot better than I was expecting. It seems like it would be disappointing to just ride a small bay and creek. To my surprise, this was one of the better airboat rides I've done across south Florida! Boating Limpkin Creek was a great insight to Okie locals. We saw gators and so many other native wetland animals. Our tour guide, Denise, was very knowledgeable and very great at her job. All ages in our party from 4 to 84 had a fantastic time!!!

Our guide Louis was awful. He showed up 20 minutes late, didn’t acknowledge us when he arrived, and barked political and conspiracy theory nonsense the whole trip. He referred to my niece’s wedding (the reason we were in the area) as a “funeral” several times. He thought seeing a bunch of cows was a highlight, continuously blasted plants on the side of the creek so we were pelted with shrapnel and bugs, and just hot-dogged around in the boat rather than giving us a tour. The other guides might be great from the reviews, just make sure you don’t get Louis.
UPDATE: I talked to the owner and he was very apologetic and you may not have to worry about Louis anymore.

We decided last minute to take this airboat ride. The lady at the concession stand was very nice and said they had room on a tour that was leaving in 10 minutes. We should have passed. We were merged with a nice group of folks that were in town for a wedding. They were the best part of the tour. Our guide, Louis (he's still there) steered the boat running through the edges of the reeds where there was plenty of room to go around and not have the reeds and what ever, hit the people sitting on the ends of the seats. After stopping the boat in a shallow area and telling us some tails he had trouble restarting the engine. He finally got it going and low and behold, he stopped it again after a short distance to chat. Yep, the battery died or some other issue was preventing the engine from starting, We ended up sitting there about an hour waiting for someone to bring out another boat so we could transfer into and continue our tour. Or so I thought. After we climbed onto the other boat we went straight back to the dock. He said we should feel lucky as they weren't going to charge us more for the extra time. I know he was kidding, but this was a terrible experience and we were not offered any money back. a refund, or even another ride for a future date. This was a terrible waste of 2 hours. Louis was most likely still celebrating the results of the election as he said he refuses to drink Bud Lite even of it's free.

We had a great tour with Shirley. She was awesome and shared interesting facts about the lake and animals. We saw several alligators, even though Shirley didn’t feed them marshmallows like other tours do. Full recommendation from us.
