My Great Granddaughter now 7 years old has been going to Dutch Acres since she was 4 years old! The things that she has learned at the farm is amazing! It has taught her all about handling horses, caring for them & learning to ride like a pro! The love & attention that she is getting from her trainers if amazing & we recommend Dutch Acres highly!

My daughter has been attending Dutch Acres since she was 4 (now almost 7). Her first word was horse and I was hesitant about her ability to ride, learn, and understand how to handle horses. Kat and her trainers made it an easy process with her easy scheduling, responsive trainers. Being a part of this program I’ve seen her develop into a confident, driven, responsible young lady. She learned her letters, direction, attention to details, responsibilities, and discipline on the back of a horse. She has also been to two out of state horse shows at 5 and 6 with Dutch Acres. Not only do they teach her to ride, they teach her how to tack up her horse, feed, bathe, and safety…BIG on safety. They base their lessons on the ability of the rider, honestly, the sooner they are on the back of a horse, the better. Although, im not riding the horses, I’ve learned so much just by watching and listening. Occasionally Kat will have mommy and me ride programs. She is constantly providing opportunities to let us learn more about barn life, and allowing us to bond with her wonderful training horses. I highly recommend her program!

I was nervous about getting back in the saddle after many years but Audrey has made the experience wonderful and I look forward to my lessons SO MUCH every week! I was hesitant about riding again since I’m in my thirties now, but I’m so happy I did. I have no doubt Audrey will help me reach my goals.

I had my sons 5th birthday party here this past weekend and it turned out amazing!! There was so much room for the kids to run around and the cutest animals. I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids! I highly recommend having your next part here. I also recommend taking horse lessons here at Dutch Acres. My son, who is autistic, has been taking lessons here for almost a year and absolutely loves coming each week. These wonderful ladies here are amazing with him!

Both my daughters (ages 10 & 13) have been taking lessons here for a couple of years now. They love it and have learned so much. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We like that it’s quality instruction but low-key! They offer other experiences that we’ve not found at other facilities, like open barn times, on-property farm shows, and opportunities for internships.

I highly recommend this program. The instructors have a vast amount of experience in the horse world, which gives them the ability to teach all levels of riders. As a parent, I appreciate the attention to safety that is incorporated into everything they do. The horses, equipment, and facilities are well taken care of.
