I’m a local resident who visits the DoubleTree restaurant and bar from time to time, with my girlfriend and friends.

While we enjoy the amazing live music that tours through here with various local bands with the atmosphere always being upbeat, along with the delicious foods and professionalism provided by the staff - our single issue is with the overall “time”.

It doesn’t matter what day of the week, including the weekend - from sitting to ordering and waiting on drinks and food - it ALWAYS seems to take extremely long, compared to most restaurants we visit.

Long wait times for someone to take our drink order, followed by the same for food ordering. Then the food itself takes even longer.

It seems the hotel staffing levels for this restaurant and bar tend to be various daily, ranging from less to many yet this never changes the wait times we experience.

We do not know why this is? Are the wait times on purpose due to managing guests along side hotel room ordering?

The staff is always great!, professional, helpful and a delight to help us - so this isn’t a focus on them personally but rather food management’s ability to offer a continuous flow and experience based on service levels.

I write this review for the first time as I sit here at the restaurant tonight waiting on someone to take our drink order.

It’s been now 20 - 25 minutes…. And now just as I finish this sentence a waiter came to ask if we’ve been helped. Obviously we were overlooked and I understand with busy times it can happen too.

If this single “time management” issue can be improved - the overall experience would be perfect! Thank you.

The wedding block of hotel rooms was here because they would accommodate the number of rooms we needed. The customer service at the hotel was terrific from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The staff was helpful with ensuring our guests received their welcome bags, even for the guests who were not part of the wedding block. And on departure, the general manager helped to pack up our goodie bags and even carried them to our car. Any issue we had was easily resolved. The rooms were comfortable and requests for adjoining/nearby rooms were honored. All of the staff members we encountered were welcoming and helpful. When booking the rooms it was suggested that the bride and groom book adjoining suites so the female bridal party could utilize the space for hair and makeup. This worked out perfectly! Our only disappointment was that the wedding block rooms did not include a complimentary breakfast meal.

We had our St Paul Football Banquet at the Doubletree and it was excellent! Elizabeth was great to work with in making all arrangements. The staff during the event was very attentive to all our needs. The AV equipment worked perfectly. The food was excellent and I received many compliments from several of the attendees.

Rooms were blocked for our daughter's wedding. The staff was helpful and rooms were comfortable. We would have liked for breakfast to be included in room cost.

Everything was fantastic. Friendly staff. Very clean common areas and rooms. Breakfast was great as well. Two suggestions 🤔. A room safe and the toilet paper dispenser was a bit too far away for my short wife. The bar and restaurant were fantastic. Very Friendly service all the way around.

Horrible. Horrible hotel. Horrible room in the middle of the lobby. Right by the bar. The front desk was incredibly rude and not helpful. Got little to no sleep because of this. I’m disgusted by this place. Horrible rooms and horrible service. Do not come here!

BEWARE of Doubletree Hilton Bristol!! After booking a reservation labeled as non-refundable from a third-party service that Doubletree Bristol accepted, when I arrived late at night, without telling me, they released that reservation and charged me for another one. Oddly, they also could not give me a room key, but instead had a staff person walk me to a room and let me in, which has never happened to me during my dozens or hundreds of stays at other hotel. When I spoke to the manager, she assured me that I was not billed a second time and told inconsistent stories about what she saw in their computer system. I never authorized a second charge. Contrary to that manager's statements, however, my credit card company informed me that I was double-billed, which took hours of work to correct. Oddly, the same manager changed her story with Hilton's customer service several times, and made this all more complicated than it had to be. Rather than express regret or empathy, this manager raised her voice telling me repeatedly that I "do not understand" their computer system. Someone needs to train the management there about customer service and respect, but if you don't want to have an odd stay and to spend weeks reviewing your credit card bills, I finish where I started, BEWARE of Doubletree Hilton Bristol!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel with my daughter, and we had a great experience both times. We live only a town away, but we've come here when we want a mini vacation and to swim in the pool. Everyone here is super friendly, and the entire hotel is very clean. The bed is comfortable, the shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. We always order room service for breakfast, and it's delicious and huge portions. We also had dinner at the restaurant once, and the burgers and fries were great there too. The pool is great, clean, and a nice temperature. The only negatives I would say is I'm not a fan of the toiletries, and I'm not someone who's usually picky about things like that. Unfortunately my hair felt very stripped after using their products, so I will be bringing my own toiletries next time.

I especially wanted to comment that the staff is not only friendly but quick, considerate, and efficient. Fifteen minutes after we checked out and were driving home, I received both a phone call and a text letting me know my daughter had left behind a stuffed animal she sleeps with every night. I was so impressed that they contacted me so quickly. We live close by, but if we had lived farther away, especially out of state, it would have been a nightmare to get all the way home and figure out we had left it behind. Since they called immediately, I was able to turn right around and go pick it up at the front desk before my daughter even realized it was missing. Thank you, DoubleTree! We'll be back next time we need another mini vacation!
