What an awesome experience! Shelly is the sweetest gal and checked us in. It was a very smooth process. They have bags for you to stash your bottled water and phone in. The wrangler explained everything very clearly, and then another wrangler helped you mount your horse. After that you were off! Your wrangler has worked with these horses for many hours, if you listen to what they say you will have a fantastic time! We did the two hour ride, and it was only us two and the wrangler (guide), Mike. He was excellent and held a conversation with us throughout the entire two hours. He also has the perfect spots where he stops and takes a photo of you on horseback unprompted, then later sending it to you! I would highly recommend going off the beaten path for this riding experience!

Take a hat, the sun is strong. Wear jeans and boots, you’ll get close to some cacti ?. Wear sunscreen, and take a bottle of water.

Our first visit to this ranch. What a wonderful experience for two girls having their first trail ride!! Cowboy Darryl was a joy and very watchful over the girls. He made the trip so fun for them!! It was a scenic ride through the desert with Superstition views. God blessed us with a beautiful time! Ranch is easy to get to, plenty of parking. We plan to return.

We booked the 1.5 ride and loved it! Our guide was fun & knowledgeable, the scenery & views of the superstitions are beautiful! Once you ride here you won’t go anywhere else to ride! Peaceful & Relaxing we really enjoyed our time at the ranch! Everyone is friendly and welcoming! Horses are beautiful and well taken care of, great ride! Great company! Great ride. Staff were helpful. Horses were a lot of fun, not slouchy! "Lean forward, head down, and hang on to the mane!" Lol. That was the best line of the day!

We went for an hour ride at the D Spur and it was quite the experience! This place runs their own herd of longhorns and they are impressive! The wranglers are very friendly, helpful, and safe. The ride was at a walk, but that allowed us to really enjoy our surroundings! About half way through our ride we came across a rattlesnake! Our wrangler jumped off their horse and disposed of it so we could pass by safely. All their horses have nice hay bellies, glossy coats, and nice fitting saddles. Miss Shelly is the kindest lady we’ve met and made the booking process seamless. I will be bringing my family back again. Thank you Shelly and thank you wranglers, you guys are all the best!

Wonderful hour long horse ride for my mom, my kids (ages 8 and 10) and I. Horses knew just what to do and the guides were helpful and friendly. Thanks Michael! Would recommend and we will be back! Call to make a reservation and wear jeans- even on a hot day that was a good idea.
