Our guide Mark brought positive energy, and his affection for Arizona makes him passionate about giving his tourists a brilliant experience. He was always on time, attentive to our needs, and informative about our sites and points of interest. The vehicle was comfortable and roomy. The drive from Phoenix was actually an added value to the Grand Canyon experience. I didn’t expect so much desert diversity, and I can’t imagine how Mark could have done more to make our Grand Canyon tour a success.

Our private guided tour to Sedona and Verde Valley Wineries was everything we hoped for and more. Our guide Laurel was *AWESOME* she knew exactly what we were looking for and allowing us the right amount of time to enjoy ourselves at each location was priceless. The vibes were good, the music was great and the food and wine just made it a perfect day. We did the custom tour as I was taking my 86 year old mom and my aunt. The booking and the communication were easy and good. The SUV was very comfortable.
Grand Canyon was Grand but the whole experience was made memorable and amazing by our tour guide and driver Derek. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly and took such good care of my mom. The drive to the Canyon from Phoenix was very interesting and informative with the wonderful narratives provided by Derek. Considering my mom’s age and mobility issues, Derek chose spots with less walking so mom could enjoy the best views with less exertion.

I booked this sightseeing trip somewhat on a whim, and I'm glad I did! Traveling alone, I'd never been on a group tour before, and was a bit apprehensive. The folks at Detours were great to work with and communicated instructions ahead of time. Ardo was our tour guide, and a fantastic one at that. His knowledge and charisma made the tour especially enjoyable and interesting. He had suggestions for fun things to see and do along the way, which was very helpful. Heck, we even had pie at the end! Fantastic tour of Sedona. Wish we were there longer to take the other tours they have. Diane was amazing explaining things and so patient with the kids. She told us about plants and hackberry. We got to try rattle snack sausage, cactus fries and prickly pear drinks. Recommend this tour 100%.
