Most recently worked with Destination Travel on a vacation to Jamaica. There were 13 originally that booked the trip. Several weeks before needing to make final payments for our trip, multiple members of the group reached out to both Kassie, and Lori leaving voice mails and emails requesting calls back! It took 10-14 days to get a response which was finally successful by sending a private message thru Facebook messenger, as well as making a post on their Facebook page asking how to reach someone. This is the ONLY way I could get a return call. I Wii say that Lori was very nice and answered all my questions, but I was extremely disappointed in having it take so long to get a response back. We originally started with Kassie, and I had originally tried contacting her. She was out for a tragic family event, but no one had updated the phones or Facebook page that she was temporarily out and should reach out to Lori. Closer to our date to leave, again tried to reach an agent by calling. Had to send the FB message. She promptly replied but did initially give me incorrect information that I did not need to complete the Electronic C-5 form for entry into Jamaica. 4 ppl had already dropped out before the final payment due because of the lack of response to call, and one more right before for reasons I do not know. With the entry form info I received, I was just not comfortable so I went to Travel House of Quincy and spoke with Mecki Kosin. Even tho she did not book or plan this trip, she gave me her forms for what to expect, do for Jamaica travel, and told me I did indeed need the entry form. I’m not sure what the problem was with Destination Travel, but our group was a nice group and it seemed as if DT just didn’t care to assist our needs, questions, or concerns. I feel like when u use a travel agent, it a service and they should be fairly available to assist you for questions, etc. I will most likely not use this agency for any travel in the future.

I booked a vacation a year ago that I had to cancel. That part was easy. Fast forward to a month ago, I emailed and called to use my travel credit. After 2 weeks of no responses, I emailed the other agent who was quick to reply at first. We discussed a couple of options and received an email with very little detail. I replied asking some questions but never received a reply. I had to contact Fun Jet direct (huge language barrier) to get my vacation booked.
My recommendation is to book your own trip and NOT use this agency unless you have months to plan and don't mind being ignored when you email or call.

Great company to work with! Kassie does an amazing job of setting up our trips for us and making sure we are set once on vacation. Everything always works out great, even if there are a few bumps in the travel world that are beyond their control! We wouldn't work with anyone else! We love Destination Travel!

Leaving this review because I think that when people are trying to make travel plans, time is a big factor. Kathy Casey said that she specializes in destination weddings, so when my fiancé proposed and we decided on a destination wedding, I reached out to her. It took several days for her to get back in touch with me and when she did, we ended up playing a long game of phone tag. Eventually I did get Kathy on the phone and I explained everything to her that we were looking for. Kathy assured me that she would have a list of possible resorts prepared for me in the next few days and to be on the lookout for an email. A week later still not having received an email, I reached out to her office and left her voicemail, letting her know that I had not received anything and to please give me a call back whenever she had a moment. That was over a month ago. I still have not heard from Kathy Casey, so I guess for whatever reason she decided that she could not help us, but a professional businesswoman would have reached out to let me know that instead of just ghosting me. Pretty un-professional if you ask me.

Our vacation was perfect. We had everything we needed and had no issues at all thanks to Kassie. She took care of everything and suggested the upgrade to premium level which turned out to be way more than worth every penny. Thanks Kassie and Destination Travel.

Service was slow and sat for an hour before we got our food. Waitress did not follow up during the wait for food. So had to stop another waitress to get more drinks. Our waitress was only personable after she brought our ticket. To late!
