We had a fantastic time! There are no deserts in Scotland!
Eric communicated with us by ensuring we had good directions the night before and was already waiting for us as we arrived (early!) at the Roadrunner bar.
Right from the outset Eric was polite, charming, informative and interesting.
We were extremely lucky to have picked a time and day that meant we had a private tour with Eric (they had a fully booked v busy afternoon after us!) and we set off following him to the desert wilderness in the unique Tom Car vehicle.
It was clear that Eric was very knowledgeable and also very skilled at passing this on to his guests. We were instructed in how to handle the quirks of the Tom Car and at the same time given confidence and encouragement about our driving in an enthusiastic way. We loved it!
Eric told us so many interesting things about the desert, its climate, geology, botany and wildlife. We only saw a chipmunk or 2, but the thrill of possibility was still around every bend.
The terrain was exciting without being scary and although hard work to steer, due to lack of power assistance, we were both keen to take our turns.
This is a unique, exciting and very interesting way to learn more about the wonderful Sonoran desert, and who better to do it with than Eric. Highly recommended to others.

As a group of friends, that come from all corners of the United States, that travel a couple times of year together. We try to take part in activities or things native to the area we are visiting. This includes high adventure activities native to the area. While in Arizona, we used Lance Louchheim of First Class Concierge to assist with planning our itinerary. He recommended using Desert Wolf Tours as a way to see the desert and the awesome views and terrain it has to offer. What an excellent idea. Derek from Desert Wolf Tours was a super passionate tour guide, informative about operating Tomcars, and very knowledgeable of the desert and plants native to the area. He helped us create one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Arizona.

My dad and I booked a father daughter tour on our vacation. Eric and Charles were our guides and they were awesome and very knowledgeable. They were very encouraging and made the experience so memorable. I will definitely be doing this again with my husband since it was such a blast!

My mom, sister and I decided last minute to book a half day tomcar tour while on vacation, and we’re so glad we did! Eric was our guide and we could not have had a better experience. He was super polite, always made us feel safe (while having SO much fun), and had an abundance of cool facts to share with us about the terrain/wildlife. I highly recommend booking this tour - and requesting Eric if you can!

I wanted to take a moment to share our recent experience with your team at the Half-Day Tomcar ATV Tour. On behalf of everyone at Fairbanks Scales, I can confidently say that we had an absolute blast!

This outing turned out to be the best company event we’ve ever organized. From start to finish, the experience was engaging, thrilling, and perfectly crafted for a group like ours.

I must commend our tour guide, Derik, who played a significant role in making our day so enjoyable. His vast knowledge of the area and its history greatly enhanced our adventure, and his humor kept the energy high throughout the tour. It's not every day that you find a guide who can seamlessly blend information with entertainment!

The trails were incredibly fun, and the scenery was breathtaking. Our teams bonded in ways that wouldn’t have been possible in the usual office setting. We appreciate all the effort put into organizing such a fantastic experience.

Thank you once again to you and your team for providing an unforgettable day.

Desert Wolf Tours is a must do! We did 2 cars for our family of 5, our kids are 17, 14, & 12) and we ALL loved it. (Our oldest even took a turn at driving on a couple legs of the tour. I would say you need to have a responsible and capable, confident young driver to tackle that option.) It was our first time in Arizona so being able to get to experience it this way was beyond amazing. Our guide Jodi was so helpful, reassuring, and a wealth of info for all of our questions! The car was surprising comfortable for a 3 hour tour. I was a little worried because I’m not a tiny lady and I have mobility issues with 1 leg but it was all good. You’re too busy going over their amazing trail system and soaking in the scenery to even notice. You do get dusty and dirty but that’s all in the fun. The Desert Wolf Tours face coverings they supplied really helped and were a cool keepsake too!

Awesome experience especially if you’re a gun enthusiast. Our teacher Eric was super knowledgeable with the guns and extremely helpful with everything we used. It may seem like it cost a lot but worth every god damn penny. Make sure you don’t have sunburn from the Arizona sun!
