We really enjoyed our stay in the vintage room. It was very clean and smelled good upon arrival. The bed was comfortable and clean. The decor was really neat. I especially loved the weathered finish on the cabinets, as well as the burned look. I love the esthetic of the area. There is a great outdoor area with a stage for events and music. There is some patio furniture near our rental also. The couple that manages the rentals were very kind and helped whenever we needed them. We also enjoyed loving on the mascot, Fella. They have a variety of different room options, including the Florida room, the Buddha room, the green room, the animal house room, and the tree house suite. We will definitely try to book here again next year when we come back for the Gatornationals.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The studio was DISGUSTING when I checked in (bathroom wasn’t clean or stocked, and almost all pots, pans, glasses, and utensils were sticky and greasy). When I initially approached the manager with the issue, she mentioned that they had a negligent maid that was recently fired and she didn’t have time to go back through after her and clean the room. She genuinely seemed like she wanted to help me and we discussed the issues with the room at length and came to a mutual agreement (partial refund). I paid in full prior to driving to florida and checking into my room. This happened at the beginning of my stay. They promised that the refund would be seen in my account within 3-5 business days. I had to stay there for 2 weeks because I already paid, and the partial refund was never sent to my account. After 4 WEEKS of trying to sort things out with no resolve, I am now going to my bank to submit a claim because continuous excuses were made. On top of that, there was a group of homeless people in the alleyway consistently to the left of the place, and one night during my stay a woman was screaming for someone to help her late at night (she was shoeless and walking up and down the street adjacent to Depot village). Every time I left the premises I was on my phone with someone because I did not feel safe staying there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

The room was great and the shower was very big. The refrigerator and stove were all clean and very nice. The beds are very comfortable. Just as a reminder the room I stayed in was on the top floor and you have to climb stairs. It was fine for me because I am used to climbing stairs.

The location is great! The set up is nice! Rooms are great! The host are very responsive, they communicate will come anytime if you need help with something. I’ve stayed at just about all the houses now. Definitely my go to spot everytime I visit.

Christina and Matt are excellent hosts for this boutique hotel. They provided wonderful service and help during my stay. Christina made me feel comfortable making the room sparkling clean and giving me directions to local spots. Matt carried my suitcase down the block and upstairs to my room. He also gave me directions to local spots.||The hotel is located downtown Gainesville not far from St. Francis House, a homeless shelter. This was a concern for me a single woman. So I was careful after dark. It is also close to many restaurants and bars. And within walking distance of the courthouse. ||My room was the Downtown Studio. It is beautifully appointed with pictures modern kitchen, walk-in shower and modern bath amenities. The queen bed is very soft but firm enough to support you. The air conditioner drowned out the street noise which was very convenient.

The rooms were great,clean and smelled good. The coffee bar was awesome,extensive. Make sure to measure the water with the cups you'll use when making a cup tho.

The beds were comfy,but it be nice if they had extra pillows and blankets. They could be folded in the closet if needed.

The shower was nice,two rain shower heads. Good water pressure(it does lessen if you flush the toilet) but instructions on the right head would be an added bonus.

The full kitchen was genuinely a vibe,the counters were beautiful set,the table window overlooks the whole depot village giving you a great view.

Overall it was a great experience and we will be back soon.

A super find just off Main Strret. Clean comfy beds, nice bathroom. Service was great … we needed a hairdryer and within a couple of moments one was delivered to our room. Quirky decor but quite cute. Easy walking distance to our favourite restaurant Dragonfly. We will be back.

My wife and I stayed in the Buddah room and it was beautiful and so peaceful. It was so clean and it smelt amazing in there! My favorite thing was hot soft the bed was. We slept like a dream! They even had a coffee station and a little zen garden to have a relaxing morning. Best place U have ever stayed!
