Arkansas DHS in general doesn't care if families go hungry in this state! That's why its one of the top states of the list for food insecurity in this country. Petty rules, non-caring workers who think they're better than their clients, etc. Takes months for them to work renewals.

This place doesn't answer the phone and is very invasive on trying to get health care. Does not offer resources for families in need.

I just don't know what the government's doing with itself anymore but I do I'm not going to spend a long time complaining about it. Just be prepared for a long line. The people in our office aren't terrible but their new system is just absolutely should be illegal considering that we set up these programs so that low-income families could have access to help and they're assuming families can we don't even have access to change our own information online but we're forced to submit things online work and honestly if they're going to waste this much of our time they need to pay for the time we have to take off I waited an hour there I'll take off work early I lost $25 I believe worth of pay. That's money I don't get back and they don't account for because to update for $25 isn't really logical for anyone.

Ridiculous just trying to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Takes two months to process your information that they're only given 30 days to process. I'm amazed that they don't have a legal case against them with how much paperwork they've "lost" that contains sensitive information like social security numbers and addresses and banking information. They request paperwork and I'm told to call back next week if I haven't received my benefits. They've told me that 3 weeks in a row now.

Very nice and friendly people who work there. Very understanding. I only wish that they’d take into consideration the people who are disabled or who worked all their lives and need food stamps too. I only get $19 whole dollars a month now. I can’t live on that!
