We got foreign currency here because they said their exchange rate is better than getting in the country we are going to. Not true at all. Their exchange rate was terrible and we would have saved $120 if we just got it in the country we traveled too. Don't recommend going to these scam artists.

When booking a cruise through deluxe travel in Aswan on a 4 day 3 night Nile cruise I was very disappointed by the boat I got onto. In the advertisement it shows a beautiful boat but what I got was an out dated boat that look nothing like the boat I saw in the ad.

When emailing deluxe travel about it, their response was “it does not say what boat you will be on, but it does state a 5 star boat” which it was not.

I did go on explaining to deluxe travel about its very misleading and it does not say anywhere on the advertisement that the boat shown might not be the boat you board. No response back.

So everyone be aware when booking a 4 day, 3 night Nile cruise!!

Excellent full service you just can’t get online from discount travel services.

The value of working with a full service local travel agent became apparent when friends of mine were stuck in Ecuador. That country shut down all flights in and out of Ecuador due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My friends had bought their plane tickets online from a discount travel service. When they needed help, the discount travel service lines were jammed. Internet and phone service in Ecuador was spotty and the US Embassy was overwhelmed as well. They were stuck in Ecuador. Ecuador doesn’t have travel agencies! Who knew?

I called Jose, the owner of Deluxe Travel, and he literally spent days trying to get a flight from Ecuador to Reno. He did get a flight at a reasonable price for my friends. They ended up finally taking a different flight and Jose then followed up to ensure they got a refund. He did all of this and made no commission from any of it. He was there to help locals stranded abroad. No being put on hold for hours or told to call back. Jose just went right to work.

Jose and Deluxe Travel are true professionals. They will get you the best price, best flight, cruise, tour and accommodations . Most importantly, you have “travel pros” in your corner when you need them. This taught me a valuable lesson.

In these times when personal customer service is hard to find, Jose and his staff were there when needed. Please support our local businesses and call Deluxe Travel for all your travel needs.

Locally owned travel agency. Some Bilingual staff, most foreign currency bought and sold here. Great deals if you're planning a cruise, honeymoon, or a leisurely trip away from the kids. You'll be well taken care of here like a VIP.

Jose Brito at Deluxe Travel Ltd is awesome. I have used Deluxe Travel for my trip to Germany/Switzerland in 2016, and a cruise in 2020. He set up my daughter's honeymoon to Bali in 2017. They have gone above and beyond getting our cruise on MSC Meraviglia set up for June 2021. I totally recommend using Deluxe Travel. Thank you Jose!!
