I wandered into this treasure trove of paddlesport paradise off Route 1, and boy, was I in for a treat. They have an impressive inventory—hundreds of kayaks from top brands like Jackson, Hobie, and Old Town. And if that’s not enough to reel you in, they also offer stand-up paddleboards, disc golf gear, one wheel boards, and electric bikes. It’s like a skate/surf shop, but for kayak enthusiasts!

The staff here are legends. Super knowledgeable and eager to help, they can guide you to the perfect gear or suggest the best local kayaking spots. Their friendly and helpful demeanor makes you feel right at home, whether you’re a local or just visiting. Special shoutout to their extensive collection of kayaks—I was like a kid in a candy store!

The shop’s location is incredibly convenient, and the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. It’s a fun and informative environment where you can geek out over gear or just soak in the paddlesport vibes.

I have used them several times from a new Hobie Compass Kayak to little things likes like click-N-go springs. I seem to have lots of problems of my own creation and they are always very helpful and make me feel like I am their most important customer. Plus, they don't charge sales tax. That is a big plus also. Oh, also I am not a local and way out of state so even more impressive.

This is by far the best place to purchase a Hobie Kayak, friend and I drove from another state and by closer dealers because of price, service and selection. Friend purchased a Hobie Tandem Island with a trailer, got it home and used for first time, turned out rudder cables were reversed from Hobie factory, Delaware Paddlesports loaded up another Tandem Island and drove it over 100 miles to friends house to make it right. Now that is great customer service ! I purchased a Hobie Outback myself and love the Kayak, you can paddle, pedal or sail a Hobie. Turbo fins and reverse is an awesome feature on my Outback. It a beautiful boat in mango.

This place is great for both novice kayakers and the most avid paddler and kayak angler. The selection is amazing for such a small shop and the prices seem fair, made better because DE has no sales tax.
The staff are clearly passionate about the sport and very knowledgeable, but take “beginner” questions as easily without pretense and seem to give recommendations focused on the users’ needs, not the sale.
In my case, I had to return a rather expensive purchase (unused), which was handled easily without hassle. Overall a great experience. I’ll definitely be going back.

Blow away! I had been waiting for a lithium battery that I ordered directly for the manufacture. They told me it would arrive In Time for my trip. A few days before I found out it was still on back order. The manufacturer sent me a list of dealers to try and working my way down the list and getting discouraged I tried Delaware paddles sports.

Brian answered the phone. He said they did indeed have the battery. I told him I needed it asap and asked about expedited shipping. He offered to go straight to ups to have it shipped. It arrived the next day with plenty of time to install in on my boat before the trip.

I was blow away at such incredible service! It made my trip and was the last worry I had towards getting out on the water. They are the definition of service and I hope to use them again for all my boat needs!
