In a world where customer service seems to be becoming more and more of an afterthought or non-existent in many cases, Lacey has to be one of the most professional, and exceptional service providers I’ve encountered in my 50 years. I wanted to visit a Hawaiian Island to celebrate my half century milestone and she immediately went into action mode for me and my wife.

Lacey provided several options and destinations based on us wanting a pretty laid-back, uncongested experience. We decided on Maui and paid the trip off over several months. She stayed in constant communication and made suggestions for things to do while there.

Unfortunately, the Lahaina fires hit near the hotel we were supposed to stay at, which became a temporary housing shelter for displaced locals. Lacey gave us the option of switching to a different part of the island or staying the course with our resort being expected to reopen before our trip.

I didn’t want to chance it, so we decided to move our trip to south Maui out of respect for the locals devastated by the West Maui fires. In the midst of this change Lacey was dealing with a devastating family matter of her own, but she still picked up the phone and emailed us. I asked her to put us on the backburner while she dealt with it, so she had a colleague find us another accommodation.

The whole while, Lacey followed up with us and in just a few days she was back to providing exceptional customer service. I don’t know how she did it. Talk about going above and beyond for your customers is an understatement. She had already mailed us a gift from the Honolulu Cookie Company along with our original itinerary. And once the change in accommodations took place, she also sent me a personalized Maui fridge magnet commemorating my 50th birthday along with the updated itinerary.

Lacey personally ensured that our travel to and from the airport was confirmed on our travel days. The trip was amazing, and the hotel was exceptional. On the day we were leaving, United Airlines sent us a text just before we were to be picked up from the hotel, indicating a 3-hour delay. My wife shot Lacey a text to see what we do about the already scheduled airport shuttle. Lacey called us immediately and she was able to book another flight for us going to LAX instead of San Fran at about the same time as our original departure time.

I cannot say enough good things about Lacey Adelman, but if you want to be treated not just by how you expect to be treated, but better than you’d expect to be treated, use Lacey for all your travel / vacation arrangements. She responds to emails and calls quickly, never leaving you feeling like she isn’t working in your best interest. Trust me, she is...and she is the gold standard of customer service!
