The main reason for the rating was the high level of customer service. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our larger sports team during our stay. We appreciated their flexibility!|I would have liked a good fitness room and more options for breakfast, but thus was a good overall fit for our team and families.

My parents are elderly and disabled, my father in an electric wheelchair. I scoured online and make a dozen phone calls to find the right kind of room with a pool/hot tub and continental breakfast. Country Inn and Suites seemed to have it all. My parents are old school and prefer to call the establishment directly to make reservations. My father called and was told they had the kind of room he needed but that the continental breakfast was "under construction." My parents decided to book with them anyway. Upon check-in, they saw a sign that said the pool was also closed. My parents didn't want to search for another hotel last minute so they checked in. They stayed 4 nights. 3 of the 4 times that I visited them at the hotel, a male employee watched and followed me partway while I walked to their room and waited for them to answer the door. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable.
Today when my parents were getting their things ready to checkout and discussing their likes and dislikes about the trip. My mom expressed her frustration with having no pool and no notice. So my dad called down to the front desk to express that they should've been told when making the reservation that the pool was closed. The man told my dad that there was a sign and that if my dad wanted a refund they'd have to be out in ten minutes. My dad said that wasn't possible, and they're be out by checkout time. The man said that they had 20 minutes or he would charge them $120 above and beyond what they'd already paid. The man called the police to try to have my elderly, disabled parents removed from the property. My dad wasn't even looking for a refund in the first place.. just an acknowledgement that they should've been told.

First and foremost, the heat was broken in the pool area. The hot tub was also broken. Not having heat in the middle of winter is unacceptable. I wasn't even offered a discount or refund. In my opinion, I should have been offered a refund and given a recommendation of another Choice hotel in the area that had heat in the pool area. I chose this hotel so I could use all of the amenities and they weren't even all available. Additionally, the thermostat in the room was broken and the heat wouldn't go below 72 degrees. We were all hot and couldn't sleep in the bedroom. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Upon arrival at 3pm our room wasn't even ready!!! They told us we could go swim in the unheated pool room while we waited for our room to be cleaned.

Came here to swim with kiddos. $15 per kid to swim, kid area/play area is shut down, pool water is cold to the point kids asked us to go to a different pool, myself and other guests asked for towels due to none being available and took them over an hr to get any. I went to the front desk 2 times to ask for them and had to go to the laundry area and got told they are in the dryer. When towels were brought out there was a small pile with maybe 10-12 tops. Would not recommend ever coming here. Very poor service.

First off .. I would leave a zero stars if I could. Check in is at 3 pm and when we walked in a prior after 3 the lobby was FULL of people. Rooms were not ready for check in. We waited an hour and 29 minutes for our rooms. So we were not able to check in until 4:29. Secondly when I booked here 3 weeks ago I called and made sure I booked two CONJOINED rooms. We have a large family and need two rooms but still wanted to feel like we were all together. Well they infact did not give us the conjoined rooms we were promised they would hold for us. They offered no discount, no apologies for either of those inconvenience. We would have 100% booked elsewhere if we knew we could not have the conjoined rooms. Also the pool hot tub had no heat. And upon looking at the reviews now i see this has been an issue for weeks. They do not notify anyone if this. We pay for the amenities and we pay for the time. I’m extremely disappointed and I highly recommend going any where else but here. Such a bummer. So pathetic

So disappointing.
Our room looked like it had not been vacuumed in a very long time. Stuff laying all over the floors.
Dresser drawers full of food crumbs.Night stand full of multiple bags of food wrappers.
No toilet paper, no Kleenex in room. Very dirty bathroom mirror.
Also the jets in the whirlpool barely work.
I will never stay here again.
I discussed this with the front desk two times.
No offer to make it right.

Rooms not ready at check in time, pool area was cold and the heat and jets in the hot tub don’t work. Water bucket in the splash pad area didn’t work. No towels in the pool area. Run-down room. Front desk staff offered no solution other than “my manager can call you”- TBD if that will even happen…we left an hour after checking in.
