This cemetery is well cared for. It is a large cemetery giving respect by putting the Confederates up top where it is peaceful. There are plaques with historical info to help you understand how the Cemetery was founded and created. The grounds are Amazing. I would go again!

Quiet Confederate Cemetery on top a bluff where Major General Patrick Cleburne is buried. Worth the time to check out, and take time for reflection.

My wife and I believe this is one of the most beautiful cemeteries we've been through. I'm a Civil War buff so we decided to detour down south a ways to visit the cemetery. The Confederate Cemetary sits atop a hill overlooking the rest of the other gravesites and is both beautiful and informational. So glad we made the detour, it was well worth it. If you have the opportunity take the time to visit, you'll be glad you did.
