Very convenient location right off the highway but felt very safe.

All of the doors leading to outside that I used were locked, correctly and needed a key card to get it.

Room was nice and clean. Beds were decently comfortable considering it's a small town place.

Front desk lady when I checked in was very nice and explained where I should park. The gentleman tending to the breakfast didn't talk at all and the checkout gentleman was very awkward in the morning but also nice at the same time.

Overall the place was nice for a person traveling thru.

Positive: The hotel was close to the places we were interested in seeing. Easy to get to from the interstate and from Marion. Negative: The room key cards needed to be recharged frequently. The room cards also did not work on the side door at times.

Me and my family stopped for charging Tesla at this location. We entered the motel only to use restrooms. The staff ( Mark & Alice)here are very friendly they offered my 3 year old chips, fruits, milk and cereal. I really appreciate their kind hospitality.

It was getting late and dark so I started looking for a place to spend the night. First time traveling this stretch from Michigan to Boone N.C. things were looking sparse when I came to 11 my turn south I saw the sign. Micheal and his wire greeted me very pleasent folks. He got me checked in and told me about breakfast. Said if I needed anything to just holler.
The room was quiet and comfortable and the shower was easy to figure out, and the shower massager worked!
Breakfast was good and was on my way in the morning. Was so glad I stopped the mountainous roads with its
turns is better in the day light.
I enjoyed my trip.

Although not too far off Route 81, this hotel and two gas stations seem to constitute the entire town of Atkins. That probably is not correct, but that is all we saw. We arrived after 9 and the desk clerk was on an important call. He acknowledged us and said he would be a minute. He ended the call as soon as he could and quickly checked us in. The room was basic, but clean and very comfortable. |In the morning we were surprised by the great breakfast, the amount of choices was totally unexpected. The buffet server was very friendly, asking if we were comfortable, and if we needed anything else.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room and every area of the hotel was clean and well cared for. Every associate was very nice and friendly. From the gentleman who checked me in , the gentleman who was working the breakfast, to the lady who checked me out - each one made me feel welcome. I will definitely put this hotel on my must stop list. Again amazing service and cleanliness.

We are always looking for the nicest hotel for under $100/night. We saw this in the VA hotel coupon book at a rest stop. It has been the most upscale for our price range! Room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet as it is JUST off Rte 81. B’fast was served until 10am and offered eggs, sausage, waffles, b’fast burritos, 3 kinds of juice and much more. We were delighted!

Everybody very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and had many choices. The gentleman in the kitchen was very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.|I would definitly recommend if you are looking for a clean quiet place with friendly staff.
