Very Little to say about a mediocre place.
First of all we were charged a 3% service fee for absolutely no reason! We simply were served expensive drinks with little attention to our table! I refuse to patronize any business that randomly charges a fee such as this.
We were actually a group of 12 that were virtually the first group in the door. Our group was split so we did not sit together. 4 of us were put on our own even though there were better options for seating our group.
The place is crammed with tables as others have mentioned. This makes for a very tight experience. We were elbow to elbow with other people.We were at a 90° angle from the platform the performer was on with an obstructed view.
This is an old bank building in downtown Batavia and is poorly suited for use as a comedy club.
Will not recommend this venue to anyone unless the service fee is no longer applied unknowingly and the seating is improved.

Had a great time. We had tickets for the late show and to line up, you had to wait outside. Luckily for us the weather wasn't that bad but during a normal winter evening this could be really cold.

I was denied entry into this club this weekend solely based off the fact that I was part of a bachelorette party and they assumed we would be drunk (they said “bachelorettes drink a lot, and it’s St. Patrick’s day weekend”) … they didn’t expect us to be sober! It became glaringly obvious they had made a rash judgement before even talking to us. Even the people in line around us were saying “these girls definitely aren’t drunk, they have been respectful and quiet the last 40 min in line” …. We figured they would say “sorry, we assumed you girls would be drunk, but we were mistaken, you can go in” …. Instead they dug their heels in deeper and denied us entry! Rightfully so, we were very upset. We said we would leave but needed a refund, but the owner said no! So we are out $400, and we were so embarrassed in front of so many people. Owner called the police. Police came and said it’s obvious we weren’t drunk and disorderly. The police also said that this has happened before at this comedy club! The owner will not return our calls or emails. I cannot fathom how a business like this could remain open when they do things like this. It was shameful.

Great chill venue! Love the Speakeasy! 70’s music night concert was an 8? Not bad tho! Great place! If you like architecture, neat place to look up, and keep your eyes open!

Great entertainment! My only complaint would be the limited selection of beers and very expensive cocktails. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Two friends and I came at the end of the line to get into a show because we didn’t want to stand in the cold, and the door staff immediately pegged us as drunk and accused us of being hecklers even though we are just loud people. They said they would kick us out immediately if we acted inappropriately, and honestly, we run a bit loud and are fun girls, but we would never heckle, we came for the show! The headliner was great! But once again, at the end of the show, we found the staff Incredibly rude, and judgmental, assuming we were blasted, when really we were just enjoying our time and ushered us out really quickly. They even made comments to others in the crowd, that they hoped we got home safely. Once again, we were not drunk. If you aren’t supposed to have fun at a comedy show, where are you supposed to have fun? They have great comedians from time to time, but the staff is cold and rude. As a resident, sadly, I can’t recommend this business to others, even though I feel like it’s great for downtown Batavia.
