Evan, Randy and family are amazing! Although we have our own fly fishing rafts, we were one short for a recent trip. I could tell you how hard it is to find a place that will rent a fishing raft without also having to hire a guide, but you don't have to look any further than here. Evan and Randy have very high quality inventory and their customer service is unparalleled. Plus, they charge about half of what you can expect to pay for a guide and a boat for just a half day. They're in a prime location for fisheries and rafting from every direction and they're just altogether good people. Highly recommend and we will definitely be repeat customers. Thanks, Evan!

Evan and his team were amazing. We landed a last minute permit for the Mexican Hat section of the San Juan river after already planning a trip on the Upper Yampa. To say there were a ton of changes to our trip logistics is a gross understatement. Evan went above and beyond to accommodate our changes in timeline and equipment. Completely professional and very accommodating. Evan allowed us to pick the raft up the night before and was very friendly. The boat has an amazing frame and the raft was user friendly. Had a great day on the Ark thanks to Colorado Raft Rentals!

A buddy and I rented the 13 foot Aire SuperPuma for a day of fly-fishing on the Arkansas. We did a 16+ mile float and this boat performed great. It is set up beautifully for fishing, with two comfortable fishing seats, a stripping basked on the front, and a great set-up for the rower. Great accessories as well, anchor, throw rope, PFDs, helmets, some very nice oars, and easy to manage on the trailer. The boat is very responsive and handled the heavy stuff just fine.

Evan, the owner, is great to work with. He was flexible and responsive and made sure our needs were met. He made it easy to pick up and drop off the boat, and the paperwork and payment were also simple and smoothly managed. He is a family-oriented man and does a great job.

Highly recommend renting from Colorado Raft Rental if you want to do a self-guided trip in the Buena Vista area.
