I’ve been wanting to go over landing for sometime now, and I was thrilled with my choice to go with Colorado Overlander. The vehicle was super clean and very capable. It was stocked with everything we needed to have an awesome adventure. We flew in the Grand Junction and headed south to rim rocker, camped a couple nights on Rimrocker Trail and then journeyed into Moab, did a hike in arches and went up River Road to onion Creek and back through Gateway and it was beautiful scenery. No one around. The staff was always kind and helpful and we are so appreciative for such an awesome trip. Thanks Zach, Patrick, and everybody else!

We really enjoyed dealing with the folks at Colorado Overlander throughout the entire process of booking the Land Cruiser.

Throughout a fairly lengthy email thread and a couple of phone calls, they were very helpful at guiding us through the proper steps and providing information.

The Land Cruiser was amazing. It was delivered to our pick-up location in Grand Junction perfectly clean and organized. Chris went through everything in detail and demonstrated all the important features. The equipment included was everything we needed and nothing that we didn't, and we still had plenty of space to re-organize everything with our clothing, food, and camera gear. From the mess kit to the sleeping gear, it was all very good. The refrigerator had plenty of space for a week's worth of food and kept it at the right temperature the entire time with no drain on the primary vehicle battery.

The Land Cruiser itself was turning heads everywhere we went with folks looking at it and even a couple of comments to us. I have a lot of 4WD experience, and it served us well being fully loaded on some really fun 4WD roads, yet we never really came close to using its full capabilities.

One of the best holidays....maybe ever. We rented three vehicles, two Tacomas, and a 4Runner. We asked the guys at Colorado Overlander to remove the tents and all the overland gear since we would be off-roading and not overlanding. This was no problem. They left the fridges in, which was the kindest thing ever!

Super clean when we picked them up, in great working order, and the customer service was superb. The handover process was chill, with no unexpected issues.

Ten days and one epic Colorado off-road trip later, the hand over was equally chill.
@Zach - You are a real legend, thanks for everything and working with me for 8 months to get this booking perfect. Also your brewery recommendation was also great! We would love to come back and rent again!

Had a great experience with Colorado Overlander. Vehicle was brought to our hotel in Grand Junction early Wed morning and then picked up at GJ Airport Sunday afternoon. Our 4Runner was clean and ready to go when it was delivered. Well equipped with high end gear all around. Enjoyed 4 days on Onion Creek, Rim Rocker near Moab, UT. Then headed down to Ouray for Imogene and Engineer Pass.

Looking forward to the next opportunity to head out there and rent another vehicle.

Five stars for Colorado Overlander! We recently used their services to rent 2 Tacoma TRD PRO trucks for an overlanding trip through Colorado and Utah. The trucks were well-equipped with everything we needed, including but not limited to rooftop tents, sleeping bags, cooking gear, campsite seating, and plenty of recovery gear and tools. Although not a trip planning company Colorado Overlander, was amazing in helping us prepare our trip/itinerary to ensure we had an amazing experience on some epic trails and remote camping areas.

The vehicles and gear were clean and in great condition, giving us the highest level of confidence when we were quite a distance away from any support or services. Before we started, we received a thorough walkthrough of all accessories and vehicle capabilities and the team did a great job answering all of our questions leading up to departure. Throughout the entire trip, so many people complimented us on our rigs and highlighted that our setup could allow us to go almost anywhere. I can go on forever around how the rigs enabled us to have unique experiences and tons of memorable moments, however the pictures really can give you a glimpse into the cool areas we explored.

Overall, we had an amazing time on our trip and would highly recommend Colorado Overlander to anyone looking for an overlanding adventure. We look forward to booking vehicles again for our next overlanding family adventure.

Zach and his team at Colorado Overlander set up our family for an incredibly special trip. Their 2019 Toyota Tundra, outfitted with 2 roof tops tents, was the perfect choice for my family of 5 (see pictures). Make no mistake about it - they not only chose the right vehicles but have also customized and outfitted them to be very capable off road.

Zach’s customer service was top notch – answering every question and helping to work out the smallest of details. He and his crew went above and beyond to turn the truck and gear around in less than a day from a previous rental to accommodate us. We will be going back with Colorado Overlander for another trip next Summer!

Epic UT Adventure

Colorado Overlander exceeded our expectations. From helping to plan our trip to finally handing the keys back (reluctantly) Patrick and Zach were truly a pleasure to work with. Our trip took us from Grand Junction CO to Moab, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce, Zion and Vegas. The nearly 700 mile journey in the Land Cruiser 200 (Conquistador level) was super comfortable and roomy enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. The team at Colorado Overlander thought of everything when outfitting the LC and including additional gear to make our adventure even more enjoyable. I honestly didn't expect the level of hospitality that was extended to us. These guys are pros and their commitment to our safety and comfort went above and beyond our expectations. This was an adventure of a lifetime and CO Overlander made it all possible. Can’t wait to book another adventure. Thanks guys!!! -Brian

Second Trip

This trip took us from CO to WY on an awesome upland bird adventure in the new Toyota Tundra. The guys at COO did a fantastic job from start to finish again. I cannot say enough about how professional and acomodating these guys are. The Tundra was incredible too. Super comfortable and tons of power/torque. Ours was outfitted with 2 FSR High Country V2 tents and they were the nicest RTT I've ever slept in. Time to start planning a 3rd trip. Best adivice I can give is skip the hotel and rental car and embrace the wild in an overland adventure you won't forget!

My wife and I just got married and this overlanding trip turned into a honeymoon. The customer service was top notch and Zach went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed before we set off. We used a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and it was outstanding. We are novice off roaders and the 4Runner had no problems with the variety of off road trails we took it on in CO and UT. Highly recommend experience and Colorado Overlander is an outstanding company to help make it easy, safe and fun!
