I went snowshoeing with Alex and had a great time. We spent a snowy and (very) windy morning climbing above the tree line around Breckenridge. Alex took the time to listen to my current skill levels and found a good climb that let me see part of Colorado that is unique. Alex is very knowledgeable and safe as a guide; he helped us get to the trail safely, and he is also in great shape and kept us on pace to make sure we maximized our time in the snow. I highly recommend Colorado Adventure guides; they made the trip safe and more enjoyable versus trying to plan and find your own trail.

We spent a glorious morning snowshoeing with CJ and Eli. The hike was very well organised and CJ was in touch in the lead up to get to know us and what we'd like to do on the trip. We had so much fun and were treated to stunning foret and mountain views. Would love to do it again next time we're in Colorado! Thanks CJ, Eli and Colorado Adventure Guides.

i went on a snowshoeing guided tour with Tanner and had an amazing time! i didn’t have a lot of experience with snowshoeing, so he gave me some really good tips - he seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. he was also accommodating to my needs and tailored the activity to make it an enjoyable experience for me. 10/10 would def do it again.

First of all the good: The instructors are knowledgeable and quite professional. They presented a good amount of content, and offered expert coaching. On the bad side: I was quite surprised when I was told we were not getting shuttled to the location. I was also disappointed that tech did not work during the classroom session as this should be something tried and true. I also felt that, while the guides spoke of pacing, they still seemed to press the pace of the group. With that said, I had some issues getting down through the powder, and Cam handled the situation in a professional manner, so my hat is off to him for that.

I had an awesome experience climbing my first fourteener with Colorado Adventure Guides. My guide was deeply knowledgable and skilled in mountain climbing, skiing, and with a wealth of information about mountains, with safety being his number one goal. I learned a lot and also had great fun ascending and descending. Trekking Quandary Peak is challenging, and demands endurance, as it is a constant climb all the way to the summit, with a little relief at the false summit. The weather worked out fine as we set out early by 6 am, summited and successfully descended before the afternoon thunderstorms moved in. My advice for those taking on the Quandary Peak challenge, take enough water and snacks. The climb requires lots of endurance. Overall, I had a great time and am looking forward for my next fourteener with Colorado Adventure Guides!

We just completed our AIARE 1 course with Colorado Adventure Guides and couldn't recommend them enough. Our group of 6 did it combined with a hut trip to Sister's Hut and had a fantastic weekend. Our guides Abe and Mikey were the best. Both of them know so much about the backcountry and avalanche safety and taught us the course material in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Their enthusiasm for being in the mountains was contagious and we had so much fun skiing and hanging out in the hut with them. They also did a great job looking after everyone in our group and making sure each of their needs were met so that everyone could have a good weekend, while also being patient in answering our endless questions. Thank you!

Had the pleasure of doing a MTB tour with Justin and Colorado adventure guides and what a treat! Justin was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and fun. As a very beginner I’m the sport, it was nice to have someone that knew biking and could offer suggestions on how to better ourselves. I would definitely recommend Colorado Adventure Guides for any winter or summer sports touring. Thank you!

Wow! I am not sure where to begin…

Our guide, Jared was personable, humble and open to any questions. Jared walked us through not only the safety precautions in an easy to follow manner but in a way that kept things fun and interesting. You will find Jared to be accommodating, encouraging and valuing of communication.

Durable, easy to operate, understand and learn each piece of rental gear we used. Which by the way is included in the initial cost and just so happens to be a friendly price that makes it more available to the wider population.

My friend and I were given clear expectations of what to expect from weather, down to the locations of choice, to the gear we should bring.

Thank you CAG and thank you Jared!
