I can’t review the resort because we didn’t stay there. We actually came only for the beach in front of this resort. The Republic axis and free parking and we return here a few times for a beach day because there is a beautiful sandbar and shallow lagoon for dipping or swimming in a calm water safely esp if you have kids.

I stayed this past summer. And like usual it was a little peace of heaven. Relaxing, fun and so much more. I have been visiting there for the past40 years. All started with my parents and now my brother and I.

Quiet and clean little resort with a nice clean pool and amazing beach access! They even had floats and pool toys around for everyone’s use. Lots of families with children and no drama. Nice landscaping and clean area for washers and dryers. Absolutely no complaints!

The unit we stayed in (112) is very nice, it is updated and has everything you'll need for a fun vacation. Right on Holmes beach on Anna Maria Island. We saw baby turtles, crabs, sea horse, and great sun sets. FYI, I think it matters which unit you stay in based upon other reviews. Ours was 112.

This Chinese restaurant is definitely a go-to spot for delicious and authentic cuisine. With a wide variety of dishes to choose from, the food is consistently flavorful and satisfying. The portions are quite generous, making it easy to share dishes with others. One of our all-time favorites is the wonton soup, which is always delicious and comforting. We've found that this restaurant is perfect for larger gatherings and family celebrations, and they accommodate you in last minute notice.

The property needs some loving. Everything is being done on the cheap. Landscape needs tending to, pool needs tending to. I understand that each unit has a private owner, but they should be made to keep their units up to par. My first impression with the front door almost made me turn around and find another place to stay. If it wasn't for my husband making me walk in I might have never stayed here.

I wish I had read the other awful reviews before renting from these people, but now I have another awful review to add to the list. ||||We rented at the Coconuts, on 73rd Street in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island. Our first thought upon entering was "how cheaply can someone furnish and fix up a rental?" and now I see.||||The principal shock was the difference between the gorgeous photo posted on the website and the actual conditions as found. Pics attached. ||||The general cleanliness and maintenance was poor; the sliding glass door to the pool just outside would neither lock nor stay all the way shut, causing the door alarm to go off. We had to prop a chair in the door track to keep it closed. To secure the door scrap wood was cobbled together along with a random scrap metal rod. ||||The door track was littered with debris and the cheap curtains showed signs of mold. We notified management that these were health and safety problems but they took no actions. ||||The kitchen was minimally outfitted, in keeping with their apparent philosophy of How Cheaply Can I Do This, not providing even salt and pepper. We bought some and left it there for the next poor sucker to rent here.||||The bathroom door was vintage 1970's and the door knob faulty, locking me in once or twice. The weather stripping on the dishwasher was hanging loose and the interior was stained and nasty. The only piece of furniture in the living room was cheap, old and uncomfortable; no end tables were provided and no other comfortable seating.
