Superb old and beautiful mansion, lovely staff and ownership, delicious breakfast!!! Located just above the central street (C Street) on A street, the setting is quiet yet super close to town. This is a really nice, elegant B & B. One of my favorite places to stay anywhere.

I absolutely adore Virginia City and after visiting last winter I knew I wanted to go back in the spring time. I stumbled across Cobb Mansion online after having stayed at the owner Connie’s other property The Silver Queen. What a magical place!!! The house is stunning and so cozy….the decor is eclectic and beautiful. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Harris Suite and loved how spacious it was. The room was impeccable. We had our own private bathroom attached with a large tiled shower. There were dvd’s left out for us to watch which I thought was a cute touch. Connie made the most DELICIOUS breakfast for us the 2 days we stayed. She was a doll and a Virginia City legend. Everything from start to finish was perfect. This will be the only place I stay while in VC from now on. I highly suggest Cobb Mansion to anyone visiting. Thank you for everything Connie.

Just a gay ol' time only stayed one night in Julia suite .Miss Connie greeted us with joy let us in and we toured this breath taking home. Breakfast was outstanding ,Miss Connie was a delightful conversationalist and shared many stories as well a history of the mansion and surrounding area., Meeting her children were a plus! We will be booking again for next year ,A bit later however as we experienced lots of snow on our road trip. Thank you Connie!

The Cobb Mansion B&B is a wonderful place to stay! Connie and Kelly are such gracious hosts. Breakfast is delicious - a great way to start your day! The rooms (and house) are appointed nicely. You feel comfortable the moment you step into this beautiful B&B. A must if you visit Virginia City and want a really nice experience.

My friends and I spent the night at Cobb Mansion and thoroughly enjoyed it! The rooms were nice and clean, each with its own theme. Connie, the owner, was very welcoming, informative and accommodating in every way. The breakfast that she made for us was amazing. We will be going back to this establishment in the future. Thanks Connie, for everything!

The Cobb Mansion is a wonderful Victorian in perfect condition. It is both classically and curiously decorated. Many, many wonderful stories are told on its walls and in its hallways. Connie Carlson is a gracious hostess, a fascinating, entertaining person, a local celebrity, and a national treasure. Breakfast is a delicious treat. The Mansion is on a beautiful, quiet street yet, perfectly located to explore Virginia City. As fabulous and fantastic as the surrounding motherload and mountains are, you will be very happy to return to its warm, relaxing, generous confines.

Absolutely a treat. My then-fiancé-now-wonderful-wifey got married here recently. I had no idea what to expect, I had only heard from people close to me that it "was a really gorgeous house" and, to say the least, that was an understatement. Connie is a total peach and made our experience at Cobb Mansion a complete dream. The ceremony was perfect, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. We got to enjoy the Harris Suite and it made the whole journey just that much more special. This house, with all of the city's rich history adorning the walls, is amazing. AND we were treated to a breakfast in the morning which blew my mind, I was not expecting anything like that at all. Thank you, Connie, thank you everyone and anyone at Cobb Mansion. And thank you, little black kitty, who got to be my new friend over coffee and a cherry turnover. We look forward to our next visit to Virginia City and we hope there might be a room available for us at this magical place.

This was our second visit to the Cobb Mansion in Virginia City. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we brought more people with us the second time (in addition to sending other friends there in-between). The accommodations are so welcoming and Connie is a fantastic host. The breakfast part of 'B&B' was delicious - probably one of the best breakfasts in town. ||Cobb Mansion is the ONLY place we will ever stay when visiting Virginia City.
