The photos don’t do justice, the house was much bigger than we expected and so cosy with a window seat that caught the sun, gave us ocean views and a chance to watch the world go by. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and we had fire wood for the fire. It is a two minute walk to the coastal trail and we enjoyed walking to the Sea Ranch lodge for a fancy dinner. This place is paradise. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this home exceeded our expectations by far. The accommodations, the amenities, and the views. We plan to return to this vacation rental in the near future. On top of this, the host was exceptional. She was very helpful in making sure that we had a great experience. Very responsive.

We had a wonderful time in Sea Ranch. We always book our stays with Coasting Home. Our rental house was lovely and very comfortable. We are looking forward to returning soon.

This property is a hidden gem. We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was. The location was great, the property was secluded and very clean. I would recommend highly if you are looking for a nice getaway. We loved it. ❤️?

This house is beautiful, like all Sea Ranch homes. I have gone here annually for the last 43 years.
This house has some MAJOR issues, however.
The gas stove almost set two ppl on fire because of the huge flame when starting it.
There were THREE flights of stairs that they don’t highlight and I have 74 yr old parents.
The heat doesn’t work in the whole house so parts of it didn’t reach over 63 degrees.
Lastly, the locks are ridiculously difficult and the front door lock was BROKEN when we arrived. The rental lady was great, the house not so much. I should’ve pushed for a discount honestly. Beware when renting this home.

Staying in such a beautiful and comfortable home in this magical and magnificent area is the best vacation ever! There is so much to do in the area (hiking, lighthouses, beaches, nature gazing) but just relaxing at the Sea Gate house (watching, listening, smelling the ocean while watching for whales and a huge variety of birds) is my favorite. I feel all the stress leaving my body as soon as I see the view and it just gets better from there. Great eateries near by, but creating meals at home is a joy as well with the incredibly well equipped kitchen. And then there is soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a gorgeous sunset or watching a starry night. Then falling to sleep to the lulling sounds of the waves in a super comfy bed…it’s heaven on earth at Sea Gate. Thank you!!’

Every rental we have booked through Coasting Home has been wonderful, thanks to the care and dedication of the staff. We have been renting from them for over a decade. Need something? The 4 of us (2 small dogs, my husband and I) all immensely enjoyed Cloud's Rest. Well-named. The framed view is exquisite. The home is private and well appointed, with thoughtful touches. The sunrises and sunsets provide awe every day as the light and sky & sea change colors.
We particularly were impressed by the support provided by Coasting Home.
