Only one difficult entrance. Top of carport is rotting and almost falling in. Office was closed at midday and mailbox was over flowing with what looks like bills. Old apartments converted into 'Resort'.

I traded into this property through RCI. When I arrived at the property I was appalled at the condition of the outside. The building was rotting away. The parking lot was riddled with pot holes. There was graffiti on the utility box as you entered the property. The place was a dump.||Prior to arriving at the property I did not receive any information as to my assigned unit number nor how to get into the unit. There was a building on the property that I assumed was the property office at one time. This building was vacant and appeared that there had not been anyone in it for a long time. There was a sign in the window stating that, "This is an unmanned property. If you have any questions or an emergency, call the number posted". I called the number. I reached an answering service with a live person. I was told that they would try and reach the property management and get me the information I needed in order to get into my unit. Between 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM they were unable to get in contact with anyone that could provide me with the information I needed in order to gain access to my unit. I called RCI and explained my situation. RCI had no luck contacting the property management either. Finally I told RCI to cancel my reservation and refund my exchange fee and trading power. They agreed to do so.||Do not trade into this property. You will end up being as frustrated and upset as I was.||I ended up having to stay in motels. It cost me considerably more that my exchange fee.||I have been exchanging with RCI for 35 plus years. This is the first time I have had a problem with one of their properties. I am curious as to how RCI will deal with this property. It should not be in the RCI inventory.

I love the location. It is a very small resort but well worth it. I could perhpas be updated a bit in the furnishings but the kitchen is new and has plenty of utensiles etc. Has a cozy fireplace and nice dining and sitting area. Bedrooms spacious (2) and closet space is fine. Fans in bathrooms are a bit noisy and so is the heating system but what can you do? Overall suits me fine.

Accommodations were good. Quiet-off the beaten path. Essential kitchen tools included. Washer/dryer are a plus. Plush bath towels. ||Cons—don’t expect a plush resort. The rugs are old, the deck is peeling, the screen door wobbles n comes off the track easily, the sofa is old n a bit saggy. BUT for the price point, my family n I have nothing to complain about. The place is clean. I loved the privacy. It’s like an older condo. We would stay again.

My husband needed a medical procedure so we wanted to stay somewhere where we could be on the ground floor and have a full kitchen as he’d be on bed rest for a few days. We selected Club Lakeridge and were happy we did. It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, good size TV in the living room and a small TV in the master bedroom. The unit was exceptionally clean and it was well stocked. Pots, pans, dinnerware and silverware for 8, bowls, etc. There were plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper etc and a good start on both laundry and dishwasher soap. What made the unit stand out was the awesome service from Samona. As the complex is very small (one building 8 units) there isn’t always a manager on site, but she was always available via email, text or phone. Her customer service attitude was outstanding - we ran into an issue and needed to extend our stay and she helped take care of things. The price is reasonable and the location is great. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown and a short drive to Lake Tahoe. I gave it 4 stars not 5 as the outside of the unit could use some scraping and painting, and the tennis courts, swimming pool and gym are closed. But If you don’t care about that and want a clean equipped place to stay for less than a hotel, and want great service, I’d highly recommend it.

I stayed here with my bf and mom in December and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our unit was very quiet and worked perfectly for our needs. We made breakfast each morning and cooked a dinner one night and they had all the pots/utensils we needed. The fire place was lovely and added a homey feel. The cable was a bit iffy at times but we didn't really care. Beds were very comfortable and the addition of the box fan was great as I need white noise to sleep. Extra blankets were used as well. Two bathrooms added extra convenience! When we had questions we simply texted and got a speedy reply. We will definitely stay here again!

We visited for the Reno hot air balloon festival, and are very happy with our stay. Mary gives excellent customer service, sending us driving directions prior to arrival and preparing information and tips for attending the festival. We found nice extras upon arrival like laundry soap for the washer in the room. We called ahead and they were able to accommodate our request for a first floor room (definitely recommend if you have concerns about stairs). Location is very convenient for anything in Reno with many restaurants near by. Room is clean and spacious, beds comfortable. The only negative is that it is a little loud with external noise, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

I've stayed here twice in the past 6 months. Personally, I like staying where I have a kitchen, plus lots of room and quiet.||Club Lakeridge isn't perfect - the exterior needs a paint job, there are a few parts of the condo that could be cleaner, and parts of it are kind dated. ||However, this is what it offers:||Great price||Two bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 TVs||Full kitchen||Patio or balcony (great if you are a smoker)||Nice grounds for walking around||Includes access to Lakeridge club with gym, pool, etc||Firm beds - 4 pillows per bed||Mostly quiet (some noise from McCarran at times)||Within a mile or so of lots of shopping||Plenty of parking||Plenty of towels, paper towels, that sort of thing||Windows that open (in bedrooms) so you can get some fresh air inside||||A few people have mentioned confusion about check-in and that sort of thing. True, this is not like staying at a conventional hotel. But when you get there, if off hours, there is a lock box (you get a code emailed to you) - open the lockbox and there are the keys and some other notes, plus your passes for the club. Same if checking out - just put your keys in the dropslot in this box.||Parking - you have an assigned, covered parking stall - these are a bit narrow but there is more parking around the McCarran side of the condos.||Compare the price and size of a unit at Club Lakeridge to what you will get at other hotels in this area - I think you'll see that you get a lot more for your money here.
