The tents at Clear Sky Resort Grand Canyon are dome-shaped with a skylight and a large window (which are dirty by the way), which is great for stargazing at night. That said, stepping outside offers the best view — the night skies are absolutely stunning. The resort is located in a beautiful landscape, and both sunrises and sunsets are incredibly picturesque.

The location is about a 30-minute drive from the South Entrance of Grand Canyon National Park.

The tents are very basic: a bed, one nightstand (far too small), two chairs, a small refrigerator, a shower, and a toilet.
During the day, the tents get extremely hot. The AC isn’t powerful enough to cool the space, so it’s difficult to relax inside.

At night, it gets very cold, and the heater — which is also quite loud — doesn’t really warm the tent properly. Sleeping close together helps, but it’s not very comfortable.

I wouldn’t recommend eating at the resort. The food wasn’t good,. There are a few restaurants and diners along the road to the Grand Canyon.

The staff at the reception were very friendly, which we appreciated. However, our tent wasn’t cleaned at all during our three-night stay.

Overall, considering the price, I expected a much better experience. Now I just feel scammed.

First off, the Sky Nova restaurant was 🔥, breakfast burrito, French toast, trout, like everything was good. Super nice staff, Cortland had great energy, Callie and Skyler were awesome waitresses. We had such a good time. The location is great! Our room had a great view, a bit of troubleshooting with getting the right temp inside the dome, but that was no big deal.

Clear Sky Resorts- Grand Canyon was the perfect homebase for our stay before and after hiking Rim2Rim Grand Canyon!
Not only was it a great location to the park but the dome designs are epic! The room was very clean and a great size with an amazing view, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was amazing! And the food at their food truck was delicious, love that they had vegan options!

We loved that they had so many other amenities on property to take advantage of too such as corn hole, fire pits with smore kits, a store with numerous essentials for hiking ect and the live music was phenomenal.

Highly recommend if looking to stay near The Grand Canyon. Already planning my trip back! I can’t wait to check out the Bryce Canyon location!

I had a great time visiting clear sky resorts. Our room was extremely clean. I was impressed with the facilities and the amenities available in this clamping experience. At night they got extremely cold to the point where I had to sleep in my clothes, and it was extremely uncomfortable. The little heater that they provided did not give us any relief, but thankfully, we brought our sleeping bags to help us get through the night, my one recommendation would be not to visit during the colder months. I was really surprised because we went in mid April and it was really cold in the evening, but nonetheless gorgeous place. Also, the food is pretty subpar so if you’re local, I would recommend bringing your own food, I tried to eat the offerings there and it was a huge disappointment. But I will definitely be back. I had a great time.

Loved the peaceful setting and the chance to sleep under the stars without sacrificing comfort. The dome was spacious and the bed was soft. The fire pits and hammocks made it easy to relax. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was great for getting to the park early.|The value is good for the experience, but the price is a little higher than a normal hotel. Still, it’s worth it for the memories.

We loved the “glamping- dome experience”! The domes are completely furnished with comfortable beds and linens . The views from inside the domes was priceless. The food was good and definitely a good value for the price. Our dinner the first night was better than the following 2 nights due to different cook staff -which sounds they will work out soon. There were a lot of daily activities for families but we really enjoyed the complimentary morning of yoga. Can’t wait to check out their other locations.

The dome was so cute and comfortable, and it felt really private. We loved the little touches like board games and the stargazing telescope. The staff was quick to respond to our questions, and the whole place had a fun, relaxed vibe.|The location is great for the Grand Canyon, but it’s a bit of a drive to the nearest town for groceries. Not a big deal, just plan ahead.

Clear Sky Resorts near the Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing! The themed sky domes are beautiful, super clean, and incredibly cozy—with panoramic views perfect for stargazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the onsite activities (like s’mores, disc golf, and yoga) made the whole trip extra special. It’s such a unique and magical place—way better than a regular hotel. Highly recommend if you want an unforgettable stay near the Grand Canyon!
