I can't begin to explain how fabulous our African Safari as booked by "Classic Africa" was. I tell others on a scale of 1-10 it was 100.
Pierre and Margaret's advice and thoughtful and knowledgeable planning was the key to the magic that unfolded.
First, I knew we would see animals. What I didn't know was that we would have the opportunity to watch the drama of the bush and these beautiful wild animals unfold up close and intimate. The choice of camps and the amazing guides was the trick and Classic Africa nailed it. We witnessed a range of emotions from awe to amazement to shock to joy - but never felt fear due to the guides professionalism and calm leadership. We NEVER went a day without phenomenal experiences because the guides worked hard to make sure we saw and experienced everything we could.
The camps were beautiful, and the staff were unbelievable. I've never met such lovely, warm, kind and helpful people. Being welcomed back to camp every evening with lamplight and firelight and the beautiful faces of the greeting party meant everything. The entire staff - especially the guides - did whatever they could to make the experience flawless.
Accommodations, food, presentation, cocktail hour, both in camp and in the bush was amazing. Sundowners while watching the sun go down is an experience I'll never forget.
And the other creature comforts - blankets in the trucks, beautiful beds, bathtubs for a queen, terraces overlooking the beauty of the bush, amazing chefs, camaraderie in the bar after the afternoon drive - were all the perfect and comforting parallel to the natural splendor on the game drives.
The final touch by Margaret and Pierre was the careful planning and concierge transfer services that took away any concern of getting lost or missing a connection - and we did 4 camps in 3 countries!!
I cannot recommend Classic Africa enough. If you choose them, do your part and study and prepare and listen to their counsel and you too will walk away with a life-changing experience.

Classic Africa did an outstanding job understanding our expectations and planning our exceptional Kenya trip. They think of every aspect and set it up so that you really don't have any stress. A good example is providing help navigating Nairobi airport. They selected excellent camps which provided fabulous game drives, along with other activities such as horseback riding. The staff at all camps were excellent as was the food. I highly recommend Classic Africa in planning your trip.

Pierre and Margaret put together a truly unforgettable trip to East Africa for our 40th Anniversary. We went to five different camps in Kenya and Tanzania and all were better than we could have imagined. The highlight of the trip was witnessing a Great Migration river crossing of thousands and thousands of Wildebeest and Zebras right in front of our eyes.

Thank you Margaret & Pierre for organizing the trip of a lifetime for our family!! Every step of the way from preplanning until we got home was seamless and all of the logistics were perfect!!! We saw the most beautiful sights, sunrises, sunsets and animals from the Chyulu Hills overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Masai Mara and then the Serengeti - and WOW the Wildebeest Crossing! Every picture of our almost 5000 photos, captured something different each and every time that shutter snapped! Words can not express how thankful we were to be able to experience three different gorgeous lodges and stay in Nairobi and Zanzibar - Classic Africa helped make this trip perfect!! Cannot wait to go back!!!!!

I just returned from my 5th trip to Botswana that Classic Africa arranged. The experience was phenomenal as usual with top game viewing at the most beautiful camps. Pierre and Margaret always put together a great itinerary and helped us navigate all the logistics of traveling during Covid and addressing the many travel restrictions and testing requirements. They worked tirelessly to ensure we had a smooth trip at all turns. I can't recommend them enough. I will continue to us them for all my Southern Africa adventures.

For over 2 years we wanted to do this trip. With several cancellations caused by Covid we were ready to give up. Pierre kept encouraging us to hang in there and he promised he would let us know when the time was right and that he did. Every detail of our trip was planned. We took 9 flights within Africa and there was always someone there to meet us. The guides, the camps and the food was outstanding. This is the type of trip you cannot plan on your own and I would highly recommend Classic Africa to plan another African adventure.

This was our fourth trip to Africa and it was by far the best. The Camps recommended by CLASSIC AFRICA were the best of any we have visited. Our additional visit to Cape Town and wine country was specifically arranged for us and we visited boutique vineyards and spent a day with a very talented artist visiting galleries and museums. Margaret and Pierre planned a flawless trip. We would encourage anyone who is thinking of a trip to Africa to talk with Margaret and Pierre.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Margaret and Pierre. They planned a spectacular adventure trip for our family. Our teens loved the thrill of hiking Table Mountain in Cape Town, paragliding down Signal Hill and of course loved our exploration of the wonderful animals and customs in the two camps at Dulini and Tubu Tree.
