Clarksville is a charming small town. The downtown area is exactly what you imagine when you think charming small town. The Mississippi River is right there and the park is wonderful! You really can touch the Mississippi. The people are friendly. Be sure to stop by the Windsor Chair Shop and meet Caron and her adorable pups while shopping.

Actually, we visited the Clarksville City Hall to see the Mayor's Santa Land. It is a three room display - wall to wall Christmas! 66 Christmas tress, hundreds of Santa's, snowmen, nutcrackers, etc. It is well worth the trip to see It. Wonderful display. We were disappointed that there were no Nativity Sets - the reason for Christmas was missing.

Enjoyed fishing, they have plenty of lights for night fishing, bathrooms are close by however there are no locks on the stalls. That's a bit concerning for me as anyone can walk on in at any time while you're in there.
