I chose City View Trolley because I purchased the CityPASS which includes this tour. The drivers/tour guides were AMAZING and funny. Seemed like they really enjoy their job. In comparison to the Old Town Trolley, they go to the same stops but the OTT's vehicles were more plentiful. While we would wait a bit longer at the stops and thus missed a few sights we would have liked to stop at.

We loved our tour! Joey was the best, hands down. He ended up being our driver twice in one day. He is super friendly and very knowledgeable. He really knows the history and explains the sites very well. Highly recommend this tour!

I loved the many of our city view trolly tour guides most were fun, engaging, entertaining and each tried to add their unique style.
We had a 2 day pass and it was worth it. We got it as part of go-city pass.
The downside is that the trolley service ends at 4:30 pm and most places close by 5pm. It you miss the last trolley you are stuck walking or getting an Uber. 2nd is the limited number of stops and locations of the stops. If it could be expanded to a few more stops around town even if it was a connection trolley to cover other popular destinations that would be awesome!

Affordable and convenient. Great way to get to learn about the history and points of interests of Boston. The tour guides/driver gives tourist great energy.

We loved our experience on this ride! You can hop off to visit a site and pick up right where you left off. Most of the drivers are funny and kind. Hugh in particular was hilarious and engaging with his fantastic banter even when it was pouring. Made a washout day an incredible one. We would do this again.

City View Hop on Hop off Trolley Tour was l one of the best parts of our trip! We had a few different tour guides since you are able to stop and explore at each location and then catch the next trolley. This being said Joey was by far the best!!! He was kind, funny and genuinely cared to help each person he met along the tour any way he could!

Joey was absolutely amazing---kind, entertaining, knowledgeable, and authentic. He is a phenomenonal representative of this great city of Boston. TOP notch--I strongly recommend his tour!!

The first Trolley driver was awful! She was an older lady, super grumpy! My friend is 6ft4 and had taken the first seat on the Trolley because the seats are tiny and super close together so her legs wouldn't fit and the first seat had the most leg room. The driver got on and TOLD her (not asked her) to move. She then started the tour and our group was chatting about what we were seeing out the windows, the driver very rudely asked 'do you want the tour or not' 'if not you can get off'. We got straight off and waited for the next bus. We were talking about how rude she was to us for the rest of the day. Appalled. The other drivers were good, some had decent senses of humor and made the tour fun but our day was definitely darkened by that first driver's attitude. Be wary!
