It could be your basic general store. It has the basics such as liquor, snacks, immediate need groceries, lottery tickets and so forth. But, it has ready to go pizzas, fresh pastries, local products and even 👕 shirts. Green Mountain 🌄 Coffee ☕ is available hot from the dispenser.
The peanut 🥜 butter and chocolate chip cookies were good 👍.
The man behind the counter was very friendly and some of the customers who came in knew him.
Any purchase that is less than $5 , you cannot use your card. But, contactless payment is available for purchases that are $5 or more.

Nice little country store. I’ve stopped here a few times on the way home from work. Last night I purchased some quick pic lottery tickets for Powerball and mega millions. The girl behind the counter, whose name was Haley(sp), made a slight mistake that I didn’t catch. As I was walking to my car, she came running out, in the cold, with my change, which was $8. I think that honesty and dedication needed to be recognized. I hope the owners read this. It was a refreshing surprise to have somebody that was honest. I never would’ve noticed that there was a discrepancy from what I purchased. Good job Haley(sp).

Love the store. Deli and sandwiches are very good, chicken salad highly recommended. Super nice. A LOT of variety of beers and the sweet treats like cookies and brownies are delicious. Take and bake pizzas are good for pizza night at home.

The General Store is like the central hub in town. The owners are wonderful. They're always so pleasant and accommodating. The atmosphere is welcoming and always fun to visit. You'll always bump into someone you know.
PS...Probably the BEST craft beer selection in the state.

Great sandwiches from the deli part. However you should put on your website that the deli portion is not open on Sunday.

Each time I have been in the General Store I have found what I needed and more! The pizza is pretty FANTASTIC! Love love love the take n bake option! Tons of good eats, pizza, yummy subs, amazing homemade baked goods... Sam, Miriam and all the staff at the General Store are genuinely good people - stop in and you will not be disappointed.

Great store for anything you need. Deli is a great spot for lunch. I noticed they have a reslly nice selection of col craft beer on hand. Sandwich was excellent with Boars Head meat. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will stop by again when running through Chester.
