One of the best charter experiences on the bay. They are unique in the sense that they allow guest to jig for and catch the fishing themselves. If I could give them six stars I would. Chet and Jamie are both very professional and knowledgeable and were very patient with our group teaching us the proper technique to catch striped bass. At the end of the evening everyone in our group (most with limited fishing experience) had caught multiple fish and we had several nice size keepers to bring home. Great experience and I would highly recommended them.

We left out of the marina at 6 am to a spot Captain Chet and First mate Jamie knew of. Within 20 mins of arriving on the spot, we had our quota. I have been fishing on a few different boats in the past but none have impressed me more than the trip that Chesapeake bay charter services put on for us. All of our fish were huge. Captain Chet and first mate Jamie are stand up great guys who will teach you everything you need to know and are professionals in the business! Highly recommend.

Fishing with Captain Chet is always a pleasure. We have been out serval times and Chet and first mate Jamie have never failed to put us on the fish. And fishing with St Croix lite tackle gear is super fun! You can feel if the fish just brush your line! When the rest o the fleet is chumming and catching 18”-20” Fish, Captain Chet is live line gigging catching 25”-30” Fish consistently! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Great trip with Captain Chet and Jamie of Chesapeake Bay Charter Services! The Wild Kat is a big boat,our group of 6 coworker's had plenty of room to move around and enjoy the views of Sunrise on the bay! We motored south of the Bay Bridge as Jamie spotted sea birds working the waters surface,Captain Chet had us on top of the fish in no time. Using lite tackle rods we dropped lines and within a few minutes the first fish was on board and in the cooler. I myself caught 5 today not all keepers but to hookup and bring 5 to the boat is a great day of fishing! Everyone in our group caught multiple fish,and when reeling in 2 or 3 fish at a time Captain Chet and Jamie handle the frenzy with a cool that only comes from doing what you love day in and day out and sharing in the excitement of fishing the Chesapeake Bay! Back at the dock,our fish were cleaned,filleted and bagged ready to take home,hard to get a fresher catch of the day for dinner! If you've read the review you know what to do,book the Wild Kat!

Would like thank Chesapeake Bay Charter Services for a world class experience. Our group had multiple 32-36 inch fish hooked up at once. Captain Chet and Captain Jamie have stocked the boat with St. Croix poles which have a feel that I’ve never experienced before. They are super sensitive. Not sure if I have ever heard of them on a charter boat. Couldn’t believe the durability of the rod. These guys are top notch. I would recommend them to anybody. Great talent, great equipment. I have been out with capt. Chet and Jamie a few times now and have always caught fish and had a great time. You will not find a more knowledgeable pair on light tackle fishing on the bay. The wild kat is a great boat with an even better crew. If you are looking to schedule a charter stop your search you have found the best.

Chet and Jamie are second to none! Wonderful experience. Those guys are true pros at what they do. You can cast and reel by yourself which is AWESOME!!!!! Most charters don’t let you do that. Worth every dollar. Good job guys! I’ll be doing this again very soon!

Great time with a really experienced crew. The best fishing equipment I have ever used on a charter. Only trolled before, this was first time jigging. So much fun reeling those big strippers in on the St Croix rods! Thanks for a wonderful fishing experience!
