I stayed at this wonderful place with a group. We all had a blast! Horseback riding, shooting, hiking, enjoying the day to day of the ranch and the incredibly polite staff was all so memorable. There are some real cowboys on this ranch. I can't rave enough about the food and how tasty it was and how accommodating the staff were! The location is perfect to reconnect to nature. I will be taking my wife with me next year to experience this phenomenal getaway!

We had a fantastic time here during our recent family reunion. Ages from one year to 82. The property was gorgeous, we enjoyed hiking, target, shooting, horse riding. ||The food was delicious and there was so much space to hang out with our family, but also to get some time by ourselves. Carol was a fantastic host. Always making sure that we had plenty of activities to choose from and home-cooked meals to fill our bellies. ||We were able to spend time grooming and riding their beautiful horses, and hiking all around the 49,000 acre property. We especially enjoyed our activities director, Jonathan. He is the quintessential cowboy, he even sounds like Sam Elliot at times. Our favorite quote was, “if I get too far ahead of you guys, just follow my sparkles”||We stayed in the “cowboy cool“ wrangler’s rack. I was a little concerned it would be hot. Each night we snuggled up in our blankets as the temperatures dropped to 50F in the evenings. Highly recommend for a family or couples getaway. We can’t wait to come again soon.

Perfection is the best word I can come up with to describe our family’s experience. Carol was very helpful communicating with us prior to our arrival so we were well prepared with the correct vehicles to reach this remote and exceedingly beautiful location without problem.|Upon our arrival, we were kindly welcomed with big smiles and hugs and knew we were in for an incredible week in comfort with our family. |Every day we went on great adventures with our talented and entertaining guides whether on horseback, hunting, hiking, or shooting. We are eternally grateful for their experience as guides to ensure everyone in our group was safe, comfortable, entertained, and above all, having the best times of our lives together.|The scenery still makes my jaw hit the floor. It felt like we had 45,000 acres all to ourselves. Sunrises, sunsets, mesas, canyons, and water holes, all spectacular. |The lodge was so comfortable, it made us feel like we were at home (if you had a home as big as this lodge), the food was on point and plentiful. The service was genuinely kind and made us feel like family. We even got to meet the owner and his dog one day! |Perfectly rustic; not too fancy and not too basic. Once again - perfect. Omg and the horses? Cherry Creek Lodge exceeded EVERY expectation. The staff were extremely welcoming, always with a smile on their faces. The food was tasty and the coordination for meals were very intentional for our large group. Any diet restrictions were well planed for! Being it is right in the heart of nature, the landscape is breath-taking. This is a must-stay location to reconnect with nature and your love ones and friends. We will be coming back next year!

The lodge is in an absolutely gorgeous location, and the staff are super friendly. They were very patient with our bachelor party group and always accommodating. The food was excellent, and I had the best cobbler of my life. Riding through the canyon on horses with all the history around you was very neat.

Due to the elevation, they basically have perfect weather. 100 degrees in Phoenix is 86 up at the lodge. They also have a stocked perfectly clear lake on the property which is so nice to sit by in the shade.

Wonderful remote lodge with incredible food and great hosts. I had a great time shooting, hunting, horseback riding and just hanging out. The scenery is incredible and nature serenades you at night with the howling coyotes and bugling elk.

What an amazing place. The staff was I credible and the food was delightful. Being out in nature at the Cherry Creek Lodge and all if has to offer was truly a wonderful lifetime experience. I highly recommend booking this place, it’s magical!

My family and I spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and every one was a great host. The food was freshly prepared and fantastic, some of the best home style cooking we've had. We looked forward to every meal! The lodge accommodated all the visitors and had a warm atmosphere - great for hanging out around meals and into the evening. The outdoor activities were amazing - great fishing, beautiful outdoors, and the horseback riding was fantastic. We are from Phoenix and loved the chance to get away from the heat with just a 3 hour drive. Highly recommended! Thanks to everyone at the Cherry Creek Lodge for a wonderful vacation!
