They have no black head coaches for football I have at the things it take I did an interview they asked me to be assistant to a guy who was a janitor with no experience because his son wants to play. and the sons are automatically the quarterback and captain with no arm or leadership qualities it’s really sad because my son really wants to play but can’t get his recognition… I think coaches shouldn’t be on the same team as their son this is laughable and a disgrace to youth football

From sports to summer camps, we use the park district for lots of activities. I've only dealt with kind staff. Currently I have a gym membership and the staff is always kind and helpful with any questions I have. My son is in the Awesome Adventure Camp. He has a lot of fun in the camp and it is from 9a-4p, Monday through Friday. There's an option for hot lunch as well. We are happy with the park district and recommend residents to try an activity provided here.

Today is a the first day of summer camp and my son had to go here. I can't express how stressful and bad experience was for us. They give me a wrong address to where I had to drop off my son.The ladie on the phone was laughing instead of helping.I believe it the employee at fountain view that answered the phone since it was 8am in morning.I spend 40 mins turning around, I was late to work.It turns out that I just had to drop him off to the center since it's for before school and no one told me that. I left my son with a broken heart this morning.also every time I call this number for any kind of question they don't seem to know anything.

We love the park district. My daughter attended preschool, The teachers and staff were great. She is also part of many activities with the district. Dance, gymnastics, swimming, basketball, and baseball. I have never had an issue of not being informed about all my daughters classes and events.

In comparison to other park districts in the area, the youth sports department needs help in all areas. It appears that no effort is put into any fields unless it is related to baseball. Even then, it appears the club teams run the diamonds as I am sure there are fees associated with that. A once affordable program for many families to provide an organized fitness opprotunity to their children seems to be out of reach.Time and effort are not being put into maintaining practice fields and equipment at this organization. Im trying to understand where the soccer registration fees are going because it is certainly not to maintain equipment or the dirt surfaced practice fields. My family will not be attending any further sports activities at this organization.

Can’t say enough good things about the preschool program. This is my son’s first year at school and the teachers do an amazing job navigating the world of toddlers! Would recommend to any parent trying to ease their child into school.

Be careful when signing up online for activities. They changed the boys team to co-ed team without any notification. They changed practice time without any notification. Park District charges 10% fee for cancellation.

I’m indifferent about the soccer program. They do not go by schools so my kid is the only one from their elementary school. They could’ve at least put players together from the same school. Also the boy girl ratio is WAY off. 2 girls 12 boys on a team. This is PARK DISTRICT soccer not travel. it’s supposed to be fun, there should be NO drafts. when you know no one on the team, and the coaches don’t make an effort to get to know each other it’s stressful, most likely will try out a different park district next year.
