Fantastic private tour with Reginald! He was so generous with his extensive knowledge of the history of the canyon and its peoples. He explained the meaning of the art on the walls and how the different periods when the canyon was inhabited were represented in pictures at different heights. He also pointed out the various styles of architecture showing the cultural background of the builders. Since he grew up here, he was able to give insights from his many years of studying the art and the stories of his Navajo people.

We felt quite lucky that he played his flute, which echoed off the canyon walls, and even demonstrated a handmade throwing spear similar to the one depicted in the Anasazi drawings. Truly an amazing tour. We are so glad we went!

Took a 3 hour jeep tour of the canyon with Canyon De Chelly Tours. Our tour guide, Jarvin Yazzie, did such a great job showing us the best parts of the canyon, and filled us in with a lot of details about the geology of the canyon, as well as, the history and culture of the Navajo People.

This might be the best thing I have done on vacation in a decade. Our guide, Jarvin, was everything that we hoped for on this tour. He was completely professional, knew the history of the canyon and the peoples who resided there through the ages. He was approachable, personable and positive.

Taking a private tour for the three of us was a splurge and we all would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had a great 3 Hour tour today with Irene.
Her driving skills through the rough terrain were amazing. She has much knowledge and a lot of information about the History of the Diné, the ancient sites, about living in and around the Canyon and Geology. She even shared some amazing private stories and the time went by so fast! The Canyon itself and its nature is unbelievable beautiful.

If you want to book a tour in Canyon in Chelly please book with this tour company because it’s Navajo operated - and ask for Irene! She is the best!

Amazing tour led by Reginald. Learned so much about Navajo history and culture and appreciated Reginald sharing so much about his personal experiences. Especially enjoyed him playing traditional music on his flute as he showed around the canyon. We appreciated his energy and effort, which provided us with a very special, memorable experience. We had an absolutely great tour of Canyon de Chelly with our guide Leon. Most tours you take aren't like you're with a friend, bur this one was. We got so much great information. If you go with a different tour group, you are making a mistake. Best part of our trip so far.
