Overall it was very nice. The staff was nice. The room was very clean and accommodating to our needs with a roll in shower and handicap toliet. The bed was a little short and too soft for me. It had a small kitchen with a big refrigerator/freezer, microwave. Nice tv hanging on the wall so you can see it when In bed. They don't offer breakfast but other then that it was pretty good.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great value in a great location, close to many things and not too far off the freeway. Very friendly staff. Every kitchen utensil I needed was available. We'd definitely stay at a Candlewood again.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. One of the things that I want the most is a quiet room. I always ask for the top floor and I didn't hear anyone. The room comes equipped with everything you need if you want to cook food in your room. The bathroom was nice with the full bottles of soaps. The lady that worked the front desk was really nice at check in. I come to Rockford about 3 times a year and have stayed at a lot of the hotels in that area. I will start booking this one each time. It was a beautiful hotel for the cost.

Our stay here was very pleasing with great service, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Only issue was soap and shampoo/conditioner dispensers were empty, but the staff was quick to resolve the problem. I do wish they would include a complementary breakfast at least for rewards members.

Love ❤️ the renovation, room was very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out was very smooth with amazing staffs . Staff here treated us with kindness and respect . I am staying here every time I visit Rockford. Great location by all the good food restaurants and next to my favorite place to go (hard rock casino 🎰) thank you for a great stay definitely will recommend

This place was recently renovated and everything looked new and clean. The girl at the front desk was awesome, helping us check in with no delays. She also helped us to quiet the guests next door when I told her the couple was yelling at each other at midnight.

Almost everything in the room was set in the way I’d use at home, which was great. Yet I have to say that my stay here was full of noises, starting from the midnight. We could hear clearly people talking, walking, laughing… not a good stay after a long drive

Nicest hotel I've been in. The rooms are clean, kitchenettes are stocked appropriately.
It's quiet and easy to relax.
Also close to amenities and shopping.

During check-in at [Hotel Name] on [Date], I encountered an issue due to not having a credit card. The front desk host called the manager, who initially insisted that I could not check in without one. I explained my situation multiple times, noting that in over 400 nights of hotel stays in the past three years, I have never had any incidentals. After further discussion, the manager ultimately allowed me to check in.

Before going to my room, I requested a late checkout, which the manager verbally agreed to. The next morning, I attended a meeting that lasted until 12:20 PM. When I returned to the hotel, I found myself locked out of my room. Hotel staff informed me that checkout was at 12:00 PM and that I had been called at 11:55 AM. While I did receive a voicemail at that time, it did not give me a reasonable opportunity to respond before I was locked out of my room. I required the manager's assistance to access my room and gather my belongings. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This incident does not reflect the high standard of service I’ve come to expect and would like it to be addressed appropriately.
